Works with Mac Mini
A good solution to connect a JVC TV with HDMI to a Mac Mini on the other side of the room without any other adapters or junction boxes. I thought at first that the cable was too short and was going to send it back unopened but in fact it is very thin cable and was doubled up in the packet. The picture delivered is as good as anything else that is received on this TV. The Mac recognizes the TV OK and allows you to set the optimum picture for either the display or the computer. You need to switch to the display to watch the TV and get rid of the computer menus etc. It was very easy to set up but you need to disconnect from the computer if you are going to restart the computer at all as otherwise the default is a blank screen. All working well so far.

Worked fine with iMac and Sony Bravia HD TV
Plug and play under Mac High Sierra and 2011 iMac, excellent picture and sound. Useful having the extra length (4.5 metres) - most cables are limited to 3 metres. Now I can use the iMac for BBC iPlayer - the TV is no longer supported by the BBC.

Do not buy this item
Bought this item, have bought one of these cable before and it stopped working after a few months so had to get a new one. Well this one Does not work had to keep changing USB ports, when I finally did get it connected the picture worked for 10 minutes then gradually started gaining static until I could no longer see the screen for all the fuzz on the screen! Waste of money!! Not worth the risk to my TV either if the lead blows it up! Cheap tat

STOPPED WORKING
I bought this cable in early December to use with my Macbook Air and I have used it a handful of times and it has worked well most of the time although often I would have to plug it in and out a few times to get it to come through on the TV screen. However it has now completely stopped working and I am now disappointed. Sadly I won't be purchasing from this seller again.
