Glad that the distributor was changed. I waited months for the other. I don't know why I can't find these in stores. I'm going to guess that Robitussin has discontinued them. They have the same ingredients at Mucinex but, for me, they seem to work better.These are NOT a pack of 16 - they are 2 packs of 8. As to the date, The expiration date is 4/2024 which means I should (but won't) be using them in 2 months. Another guess is that the vendor scooped these up because (another guess) Robitussin discontinued them.The packaging is good. Since they expire soon (supposedly) I'll keep them packed as the plastic bags.They have no taste but, like the other brands, are big & a bit much to swallow.

Stopped my cough
Robitussin is just in pill form perfect for a person like me. I hate the liquid form and gag at taking it. So I opted for the pill form. The pills are a little big, but it still works the same as the liquid loosens up the congestion in the chest and lord did it help me finally get some much needed rest. Great product and now my go to during cold season...

That the medication inside the box has not been tampered with?
The box containing the medication appeared to have been opened. It was open on both ends.The medication appeared to be intact.
