A wonderful gluten and oat free hot cereal
Pricey but worth it. Makes a great hot cereal. No directions but simply boil one cup of water, add 1/3 of a cup of flakes, reduce heat and stir until thickened. Takes about two to three minutes. Top with whatever you like. Lovely mild taste and creamy texture, great option for n for folks who are gluten free or don't like or tolerate oats.

Good source of protein
These quinoa flakes are great! I use them to make Vegan Chunky Monkey Quinoa Breakfast Cookies. I like that it’s a good protein source and healthy addition to the cookies.

Good substitute for oatmeal or other hot cereal
If you can’t have oatmeal, soy, corn, etc., this is a nice substitute to have on hand. Cooks quickly. Little expensive, but to me it’s worth the extra cost if you can’t use typical other hot cereals.

Best quinoa flakes I've had
Not powdery like other quinoa flakes I've had. Holds up well in my granola recipe and doesn't get too soggy in milk like other brands either. Just wish they offered a larger bulk size.

Excellent replacement for overnight oats!
I bought these both because I(1) think overnight oats are the best, and,(2) have Celiac disease and cannot eat oats.I had no idea if they would actually work to replace rolled oats or not, but they do! They're delicious, and they behave exactly like oats do as far as soaking up liquid & flavors go. The texture is very similar as well, but because the flakes are smaller and less sturdy than oats they're not going to pass off as exactly the same thing. I think it's a lateral move and like both but if someone is very picky about textures I don't want to be misleading.I use an equal quinoa flakes to liquid (vanilla almond milk is my preference) ratio. The one downside is that they're significantly more expensive than oats. :-( I plan on trying hulled buckwheat when I run out of these guys, but I suspect the quinoa flakes will turn out to be my preference.
