Purchase this to replace my old unit (not the same brand) which sadly broke after years of use. I really liked the ease of installation (just 4 screws) it looks good and fit perfectly. I use one bin for recyclables and the other for regular trash. Seems sturdy and rolls out smooth like butter. A little on the pricey side but worth it.

I've been wanting to order this for a while, but recently my dogs have taken an interest in my trash can so I decided it was time to do it. I also have recycling that comes each week, but since I didn't have a separate container I never really leveraged it except for large items. I also ordered the brackets which attach it directly to the cabinet door which I highly recommend, but the rest of the review is about this product specifically.The installation of this item is super simple! I had this installed in the cabinet of desire in less than 15 minutes. It literally might have taken me as long to get the shelf out of the cabinet because of those darn clips than to install this. Upon arrival, the base unit ships in a single piece, and then you just snap the wire frames for the bins into place.I never measured my cabinet, even before ordering. The awesome part about this being a bottom mount piece is the width of the cabinet isn't all that important as long as it is minimally wide enough. I'm usually pretty anal about measurements and installations being an engineer, but this looked simple enough I just eye-balled it. The base has 4 screws which attach it to the bottom of your cabinet. I aligned the front of the piece directly behind the front lip of the cabinet and centered it up the best I could. Drilled it in directly into the bottom and installation was complete. The screw holes on the base are slits so the base can be adjusted sideways without creating new holes. So you should center it the best you can and aim for the middle of each slot so you have the most adjustment options each way. I got it close enough on the first try that it even worked with attaching the door. It's not perfect and I'll always know that, but it's good enough that no one else will ever know it.As far as operation, the thing seems super sturdy. Slides nice and smooth with a little bit of resistance which prevents the cans from crashing in and out of the place. I'm very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend.

Really love our new in cabinet trash cans! This was easy to install, great size! Holds standard size trash bags and easy to pull out! Love that it keeps trash out of site!

I’m not as familiar with power tools, but I’m learning. Once I got over my fear of getting it wrong and actually follow the steps, it took very little time and honestly the hardest part was maneuvering the little metal bars that go around the trash bins. Also, the trash bins are deceptively spacious. I was able to get this installed and it’s so nice to have it neatly tucked away. So happy to have this!

This is an excellent option for a clean, easy and attractive way to dispose of garbage and recyclables in a convenient location. That's the good news. The bad news is that it's 2 plastic bins and a a minimal metal, unsophisticated mechanism--in other words, seems to be quite overpriced.

This is my 3rd Rev-A-Shelf purchase. Love the convenience and cleanliness of hidden garbage cans.

This was perfect size for standard cabinets, super easy to install, the sliders are very sturdy and hides such a hideous sight keeping your kitchen looking cleaner. Saw a lot of bad reviews on the plastic pieces connecting it together but it is very strong! It doesn’t not take up much room either and is easy to remove and clean. The color blends with our kitchen also.

Super easy install and smooth operation. So much better than thr old can in the corner. Only thing I wish is the system slid out about an inch farther. I have it installed as close and I can to the door but the rear can I can't use a lid since it hits the handle above. Luckily that's just the recycling can so it doesn't really need a lid
