Useful tool for my instruments.

If you have a ton of hex keys - or you buy used guitars or basses - finding the right one can be a pain. This has all the popular sizes in one spot, as well as a nut driver for the truss rods that use them, flat and phillips head small screwdrivers.That said, just because of the size of the handle including all these, it can be awkward to use. I had to tighten the bolts on the sides, since this was loose and a bit floppy. And the one thing on the guitool I had ages ago I found handy that this doesn't have is a string cutter - maybe not a big deal with smaller guitar strings, but really handy with thicker bass strings.The utility's there, and it's handy to throw in a case. I'd probably still pick up either regular hex keys or some with longer shafts to fit in the sometimes tight truss rod cutaways - and would still like a string cutter.

I'm sure more expensive products along this line could be of higher quality, but mine fell apart after a month of use. Some parts broke and the whole thing just came loose. The tools themselves work well though, but when everything is in this compartment it is uncomfortable to use on the guitar. All this to say I think it's better to just buy these tools separately.

I work on my own guitars, build parts casters, and that sort of thing. This tool is great for adjusting the bridge because all of the drivers you need are in one place. Some reviewers said the tool is too stiff. All you need to do is loosen the holding screw (or tighten if it's loose). I am forever setting down my small allen keys somewhere, and then I spend ten (or more...) minutes looking for them. With this thing, the tools are all there. I really like it.

Not usable. Pivot joint so tight its impossible to actually access the individual tools. The tools appear to be cheap chrome plated mild steel (maybe pig iron) instead of tool steel so they bend when you try. Great job destroying your time honored brand, Dunlop. I'm headed to Home Depot now to pick up some real Allen wrenches.... Not worth my time to return.... Dunlop "multi-tool system" going in the trash.

It's incredibly disappointing considering how much I love all my other Dunlop accessories. The bulkiness of the inner core means that you can't even make truss rod adjustments because there just isn't space to turn the hex key when you can't keep the tool close enough to the headstock. While I did belatedly find that you could disassemble the tool to get better access to the various attachments(ideally for rearranging and discarding/adding) trying to use the hex keys independently was excruciatingly painful. Also, there was an odd sense that the various attached tools were maybe milled too thick? So many ends were non-compatible with standard hardware that I discarded almost everything.
