Initial reactions are very positive
My wireless guitar transmitter/receiver units turned up today and these are my initial findings.1) Very easy to use and set up2) I suspect that range is not as good as they claim in real world situations (claimed 100ft outdoors), but in reality, walking into the next room and they lost connection, however, our house is built from particularly dense bricks! which even WiFi struggles with so in reality I'd always be line of sight so distance won't be a problem.3) You can use up to a maximum of 6 pairs of trans/recs together OR you can have one transmitter broadcast to several receivers, if I've understood the instructions correctly.4) Battery Life: charging 'out of the box' took about half an hour, but I'm not sure how charged they were in the box. So far I've used them for just over an hour and the batteries still seem strong, although there is no way to know for sure. LED blinks red when the power is about to run out.5) They solved a minor problem I had with my Boss Micro BR-80 Multitrack recorder. When I pugged in an acoustic guitar that had a battery power pre-amp and the multitrack recorder was being powered by a 9v power adapter there was always a slight mains loop hum. Using the Trans/Rec there is no hum whatsoever, so a big thumbs up there! For the price I paid for them and I'd say they are well worth the money, but only time will tell how reliable they are, but initial signs are good.

Cables destroy the illusion!
Only just starting to play again but decided give these a bash as an alternative to cables.Didn’t expect it to be as easy as this, literally plugged them in, they sync automatically within seconds and away you go.The sound quality is unreal, I really can’t hear any difference, and zero lag. The freedom makes you feel like Angus young!Charge seems to last a good while, I’ve losg count but it’s been a good few hours and I haven’t had to recharge. They do recharge off usb, it has a double cable.

Sound quality and very low latency
I only received these 2 days ago but as I was anxious to get used to and try them out quickly put them on charge within a few minutes of receipt.Once fully charged (i gave it two hours) the pairing process was so simple and took merely a few seconds. I then used the units on different guitars and amplifiers to check how each performed. This was also an opportunity to experiment with various volume and tone settings in a mixture of set ups of guitars and amps.Overall the result was excellent and worth pointing out that although the stated latency is 12ms, it is so imperceptible that it does seem to be actually fully real time. One specific thing to mention is that I experimented with volume control both on each guitar and amp and found that it was better to leave the guitar output volume, at the highest, at least two notches below maximum and use the amp volume to ramp up, if needed. This was my conclusion on each of the 5 guitars used in this setting up process. The tone achieved was very good/excellent on all instruments.I have only given 4 stars for battery life as it is far too soon to reach a conclusion, though the actual charging process to the light going out was only just over an hour, even though I left on charge for 2 hours.I normally leave a few weeks before reviewing products but I am so pleased with these units that I felt it only fair to review now, particularly as they are at such a reasonably low price. There are other similar units on offer with different brand names, some very slightly cheaper, but I am quite happy with these at the price.

Astounding Value
Can't believe the price. The only drawback is that the batteries will probably not last for two 45 min sets. At this price, however, the simple answer is to have 2 pairs. No noise at all, I've used these without any problem at all on various combinations a Yamaha CPX 900, Gibson ES 175, Guild X500, OM retrofitted with a Baggs Active I-beam p/u, and others via Vox 10watt practice amp, Roland Microcube, Bugera V55 and Marshall AS 100D acoustic amp.

Great product, service and price.
I have only had the time to try this product out for about 15 minutes but I was impressed by the quality of sound and service. It comes well presented in a foam/sponge lined box ( ideal for gift wrapping) and is very easy to set up. I purchased this a number of weeks ago, charged both transmitter and receiver up, tried them for about 15 minutes and put them away. Whilst writing this review I got them out to refresh my short experience with them and it works straight out of the box so I presume no loss battery power. Not sure what the signal range will be (the instruction booklet says 100feet) but I’ve just done 8.5metres with no loss of sound or quality. I would have gone further but it’s raining outside and I’m not taking my guitar out in that. I can heartily recommend, it’s lovely not having a cable around my feet.

Best I've used
Wasn't too hopeful of this being any good at all to be honest but for the price thought well I might at least try it, wow! It blew me away, worked straight away, simple to set up, plugged the transmitter into the guitar and the receiver into my tuner and I was away, dead silent no latency, worked perfectly. If anything I'd prefer the transmitter/receiver to be made of metal rather than the flimsy plastic feel they have but then the price would probably go up. I've had other wireless units better than this but I'm impressed to say the least. Remains to be seen whether they'll stand up to the treatment a gig will give them but for now they'll do for me. Not tested battery life out yet. If your after a simple wireless set up you could do a lot worse than have a look at these.

Crackling. Sender unit battery drains quickly, doesn't last a nights gig/practice.
Five in our band. Our guitar player had one already which got us all into gong wireless. For our other guitar player we all chipped in and got him one for his birthday. I bought one. Our other band member bought two, one for each of his instruments. The bass player bought a different make of one as he was concerned about us all having the same. These Getaria ones, the sender battery doesn't last too long, confidently about 2hrs, after that it's roulette as to when they drop out/start to crackle. This is on various preinstalled sound systems at various venues, a studio again with it's own pre installed p.a. and desk, plus our own rig. We all make a point of ensuring we all charge the things up pre gig. Only last night i had to charge up in the break after the 1st hour of playing. Started to reuse for he 2nd set and it crackled. I immediately lost confidence in it, and with the other band members waiting i quickly resorted to a lead. The guy with two his started to play up, and he went back to leads too. The two guitarists seemed to last playing guitar in every song. The bass player was ok with his different one. Various combinations of us have had issues and as a result are rapidly loosing confidence in them. We are gigging every weekend and a couple more here and there up till Christmas. We need reliable confident performing gear. We are getting frustrated with them and pissed off every time someone crackles or is repairing them up. We have four next to each other in the desk jacks so don't know if this is and issue too. Should we still have problems i reckon we'll all be chucking them in he bin.

Really great pieces of kit
Excellently priced and a great radio guitar system - just pair them up and plug in - no more tripping over a 30' stage lead on a 6' stage. I couldn't tell the difference between a lead and the these in terms of sound

Excellent TX/Rx
The transmitter and reciever connect perfectly well by pairing, during use period the transmitter and reciever power was down , i thought this is a serious let down but when we connected both to power supply at 10m distance apart, it started transmitting and the other end recieving puting our music show back on track. Excellent Tx/Rx both works while charging.

It works well
Used for my Gibson LP. I was surprised that a) it worked and b) how easy it was to set up. Plug in - switch on- press both pair buttons and you’re away. Very pleased. The sound is transferred well and clear with no delay. It’s a good buy.

Great item
Used this system for two gigs now and they work really well... Good battery life and the sound quality is great...No latency either which is very surprising! Recommend this product as a good entry level wireless system

Excellent value
The product is extremely easy to use, you only have to pair it the one time and that takes about 15 seconds. Every other time you use it it pairs itself. No problem using it on my fender Strat. When I used it on my bass, I noticed that there was a noticeable hum. My base has an active pickup so I thought that maybe the issue. I took a bit of metal tape and lined the inside of the electronics cavity on the bass next to the Jack where the transmitter sits and it fixef the problem instantly. No more noise. I have used this for about an hour and a half without any issue with the battery life. Very very pleased.

Works well, tucks neatly out of the way, no cord.
I haven't quite figured out what the maximum playing time is. Certainly more than an hour, not sure if its more than two. I suspect that with a quick top-up charge, during break(s), you could cover a 2-3 hour gig. Everything else is super. No latency when you're playing. I defy anyone to pass a blindfold test between this wireless transmitter/receiver and an eight foot cable. Thought I would only use it for live performance, but I find I'm using it at home too. Now, I'm seriously considering ordering a spare set. Already don't like being without one, and ─ as we all know ─ sh*t happens. I would definitely recommend this to any player.

Sounds good battery does not last long.
I like the unit but the battery life on the transmitter is about half the life of the receiver.Sometimes i have to recharge it twice a day.Would be a great product if the battery would last longer.I cannot play a 3 hour gig with it,it will not last that long.

Finally, affordable quality
These work very well. They recharge quickly and perform as described. I am unable to detect any sound or tone difference between using these or using a cord.
