Beautifully made bar
Watched the demo video on Hultafors YouTube channel, and really tempted by ‘boron steel’ - so bought the biggest one available - 30 inch!Very impressed by the finish - this surely feels like a £70 wrecking bar! It actually surprised me at how light it feels in hand - maybe this is to do with the perfect balance, and the comparatively thin profile (3/4 or 7/8 inch hex would be my guess) vs the massive fork end - see my pictures. Maybe the relatively thin stock is more than strong enough given the boron steel?? I’d much prefer a lighter bar for this length which I can still easily maneuver with one hand. The problem is - it is so beautifully made and I’d hesitate to abuse it by prying on concrete nails or lifting slabs etc... I plan to use it on car repairs - prying off ball joints, shifting engine, etc - where clearance is usually too tight for a fat bar - and requires a super strong steel so not to bend or snap under stress (I will stand on it if need to) - I think this bar’s thin profile would be perfect - and the cost is 1/2 of what Snap On charges for their 30 inch heavy duty pry bar...I may of course use it to take off old kitchen units, lift carpet / floor boards etc. But I may just stick with my old Roughneck Gorilla Bar for the abusive concrete work!! (Note - grinding boron steel is not advised as any heat can quickly make the alloy quite brittle which is dangerous for a pry bar. So treat it with some respect and try not to chip the blades on the ends on concrete - which all types of steel bars will do (chip) if abused hard enough.Thank you for reading.Namo Amituofo

Very well made tool, worth the money
It seems like a lot of money for a wrecking bar, but having a well designed precision made wrecking bar actually means you can dismantle or separate things without wrecking them! I've used it for dismantling pallets and lifting floor boards these and found it worked very well. Only regret is not buying a slightly longer one. It works well as a nail puller for most nails but sometimes rips the heads off smaller ones if they are tight in.
