Excellent value, fast delivery. These are long and small drill bits that do the job well. As with all small drill bits take your time drilling the hole with gentle pressure and they'll do the job well. Put too much pressure on them and you will snap them. This is by no means a negative reflection on these drill bits as any small drill bit, particularly the longer ones, you will snap it. These are excellent drill bits offered at a good value price. I'm pleased with my purchase.

Great item, the thinnest one is susceptible to breaking if too much pressure out on it.

Haven't used for drilling as yet, I bought these just to get the order over £20. Tried one in the drill chuck and is perfectly concentric. I have had problems with cheap long series drill bits running out therefore useless.How well they drill remains to be seen but for the price can be thrown out after use. I wouldn't waste time sharpening them, these are perfect for a throw-away society.

Not very good drill bits at all. I know they’re long and thin so they’re going to be a bit unstable but they vibrate around everywhere and flex so much when drilling. The smallest one snapped straight away whilst drilling into a piece of soft wood timber. Returned them for a refund as I’m not confident the other will suffice either.

Was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews but pleasantly surprised.They're of good quality, OK the smaller diameter ones whip very slightly when you start drilling into timber but soon straighten as the cut progresses as I expected.Drilled numerous pilot and clearance holes in treated unplaned softwood using the 3 and 3.5mm and they've proved excellent and still sharp.

Great extra long drill bits for use in exceptional circumstances. Very sharp out of the packet and very hard. So hard that they're brittle. So be careful with them and they will reward you with nice clean holes. Be clumbsy and they'll snap and hurt you! 🤕

I used these to drill through a 10cm workshop wall which it did - only just. I think the "extra long" is perhaps stretching the point a bit, as whilst they are longer than the average bit they are not huge.Some other reviewers noted that the smaller sizes wobbled a bit in use, but I did not find this a problem when using the 2mm drill, for example. Just ensure you don't press hard and let the drill bit do the work and all will be well.If they had really been extra long (another 5cm) I'd haver given another star but the length disappointed me a bit (I really should read the description more carefully, I know).

Chose these when looking to drill 150mm long 2mm - 5mm holes for the smaller solitary bees in a felled cherry tree trunk using a cordless drill.My only concern was that the finer ones may snap, but they simply flexed beautifully while drilling carefully, and then sprang back straight.Together with 6, 8 and 10mm wood bits, they cover the whole range of hole sizes I saw recommended.
