Impressive!
Well, after searching for a lapel pin to represent my service I stumbled on this one. The Northwest Territorial Mint has another Navy pin that features an old sail-ship in the center. It was very busy looking. I am glad I waited. I received this one today and WOW! I am impressed. It is well crafted and has great colors. Simple and clean. The size was a concern until I got it. It is about a hair bigger than a dime(literally). It came in a very nice dark blue case(possibly leather), lined with satin and a red,white & blue ribbon. There is a $5 shipping fee which brought it to $13.50 and is quite reasonable. I will make more purchases from the Mint for items such as these. I will wear this with pride and I plan to pass it down to my son as a keep-sake...it is that nice. The Mint has pins for all services and they are equally impressive. They would make great gifts to anyone affiliated with the armed forces.

Very good lapel Pin for any Current Navy or Navy Veteran to wear.
very well put together Pin, have been wearing it on my hat for the last month and have not had any issues. the nice thing about this pin is that it does not use a standard "frog" to hold it in place, but a spring loaded clasp which keeps the pin tightly where it should be and in the direction it should be in.

I bought this for my daughter's wedding and I couldn't get the clasp off the pin so I could pin it on her wedding dress. I got sick and now I see that the return time frame is over so I am stuck with a broken pin. Won't buy from here again.

Looks very good. Was very impressed with the looks. But, second day wearing it, was bumped in it against the edge of a desk when scooting into the desk to sit, and the shaft broke completely off. I ended up just super gluing it to my name badge after that.

Love quality. Some pins you may think will be cheaply made. NOT this one. This is great quality. Lettering is clear. Bold blue and white color. AND I love the backing. I forget I'm even wearing it. The backing is flat, so it's not poking your skin. My cousin's son is in the Navy and I've recommended this item to may other family members. Thank you!
