The Escape Proof Harness by HOMIMP is an amazing and affordable little harness. It arrived promptly at my flat, I couldn't wait to take Ada on a walk with it.▪Construction 10/10The construction is a Memory Foam padded Polyester with a Synthetic Suede Microfibre soft covering. Compared to my previous simple harness which was just Polyester ropes, This one feels very light secure and comfortable. The stitching seems to be thick cotton string of which is very well done and the secure loops made of strong metal. There is also a safety clip along the neck which is adjustable and made of durable plastic. I was skeptical at first coming from Ada’s previous harness not up to safety and purpose, But this was soon forgotten with this harness and coming to the quality review that follows.▪Quality and Features 9/10The quality is really good considering my comments on my previous harness. The stitching is well done and the materials well chosen. It looks comfortable, breathable and placing it on Ada it looked comfortable on her too, It also looked like a little Suede evening vest on her which made her more Dapper/Elegant even if it was just a simple walk outside the flat she was going on. (Also when she’s in hunting mode during walks she looks SPEC-OPS tactical with the harness). Now the features, “Safety” and “Escape Free “is in the name of the product and it is that. The harness fastens by an adjustable, quick and simple velcro strap on the neck and abdomen, The former doubles with an adjustable clip for added security and safety making it escape proof. As this is adjustable i found easier the fit this on Ada so she was comfortable and it proved so as not once has she tried to wriggle out of it or shown discomfort when I put it on her. The stitching and loops can withstand a lot of weight and pull, Coupled with a Flexi cord lead you can be assured that you are in control (To a degree, We’re talking walking cats here) and it won’t rip or give way when in use.10/10I've been using the harness now for 9 months and it still just as secure as when it was first used. Ada doesn’t put up any fuss when I place it on her and even knows this is a signal for walks or a trip in the carrier, So her appraisal can been seen from that. It certainly is more comfortable looking and it looks nice on her too. I would definitely recommend this type of harness over any other for cats.

Beautiful, supple and light. Non constrictive. Has a velcro strap across the front for extra security. My cat would prefer absolute freedom but since he's been shot, we've kept him on a harness to get fresh air. Would highly recommend. The largest size fits our average one year old cat.

First of all I thought this was going to be mesh material like the medium size which I had to return as it was tiny. This is a soft fluffy fabric with mesh lining. It is a very strong harness and pretty much escape proof providing it is fitted correctly. Our cat, a very nervous and skittish Maine Coon mix is not entirely happy wearing it despite the fact that it doesn't interfere with her movements, it just feels strange to her. Also she was an outdoor cat before we rescued her so the idea of being "walked" is very strange to her. Nevertheless we persevered and take her out in our back garden and stay close to her so that if we hear any vehicle coming along we can pick her up as she is easily spooked and tries to escape. Rather than let her out on her own, this is the next best thing as we are close to the main road and there's lots of fast moving traffic around. I would recommend this harness.

The velcro fastenings aren’t strong enough. When my cat got spooked by something and suddenly bolted it was a good job I’d adjusted the additional neck strap quite snugly as the neck and chest velcro fastenings ripped apart leaving the harness hanging off and dragging on the ground. It’s described as “suede” but it’s a faux suede fabric but it is nice and soft.

My cat had never had a harness on before and was absolutely fine. To get him used to his new home, we went on various walks for hours - even over the forest (just for fun!) and he was perfectly secure and comfortable. I would highly recommend this product. I would have to say though, you have to be a bit nimble on your feet not to get tripped up when the cat gets excited and decides to chase something :) In the end, he was as well behaved and happy on the harness as a happy dog. If you are in anyway unsure, rest assured, this harness is a very good buy.

I do not believe this will fit a medium dog (I bought for my cat) she was very slim - teeny in body width. She never got to wear it, as had to take a final visit to the vets; so I cannot give other feedback. The item looks ok, and guessing I now have to keep it as I was too distressed immediately after.....to think to send the items back for refund.

My cat hated this the first time we put it on her, but we very gradually got her used to it taking her outside to graze on the grass (she is obsessed with grass) after a couple of days she began to tolerate it as she was learning that she wears it to go outside, and now when she sees it she patiently lets us put it on her without fuss. I wouldn’t say she loves it, but she definitely doesn’t hate it anymore. She is a small cat so I think she found it a bit cumbersome at first, but she has got used to walking in it now and has even attempted jumping up onto a low wall. She managed to slink out of it once (I don’t know how!) when we were sitting outside with her but the collar piece was still attached around her neck - so I would advise that you keep your eyes on your cat at all times. Other than that it seems secure and comfortable enough. I’m happy with the purchase, and my cat just tolerates it lol!
