High quality hoses worth the price
My favorite brand of hose for the yard. This is my third one so far. I have one for the front, back and shorter one for extensions to wash the car... No kinks or problems. Though I did have to adjust the short one for getting into the hot water heater and drain it. These are very sturdy hoses. The length on this one was just right. No leaks either. Worth every penny. I had many of the cheaper brands and they broke just where the kinks are. Not these!

Great garden hose with no kinking!
Finally a nice quality brass connector hose that doesn't kink at all. This is the hose I should've gotten a while ago. I tried the flexilla hose and my god that thing kinked really badly! Color is much better as well. It curls up nicely, is light and doesn't show any leakage. It much also a much better value for money as its cheaper than most others.

The only hose I buy anymore
Love these hoses. They are sturdy, have just the right amount of flexibility, and they don't kink! I've purchased several of these over the past few years and they are holding up well in spite of being stored outside all year.

Good Hose; Customer Service Came Through In The End
Edit: See below. The website form was to a company that no longer handled Gilmour warranty claims. I contacted Gilmour directly, via and email on their site and they honored the warranty and sent me a new hose (though I had to follow up with them a second time because three weeks had passed and the hose had not arrived). A LOT of time and effort but they did come through in the end. Five stars to one star to four stars. Original Review: I have a different Gilmour hose with a lifetime warranty which failed after a few years. I tried to contact Gilmour for a replacement, got directed to Fiskars, and after waiting five weeks they told me they were no longer associated with Gilmour and directed me to a Gilmour warranty site/form. I filled out that form and never got a response -- not even an acknowledgement that I had filed a claim. After a week I went back and filled out the form again, just in case I messed up my email or phone number; a week later and, again, nothing. I like the hoses, but this kind of customer service means I'll never buy another Gilmour product of any kind.

lasted less than 2 months
Did a bunch of research before I bought this hose and everyone pointed towards the Gilmour brand as being top quality. I've had this for less the 2 months and it's seen little use and max temps of 85 degrees outside and this hose blistered and bubbled like something out of a horror movie. I stretched it out this morning to do some watering and left it for a few hours and came back to see it blistered and busted (see the vid I posted). Will try to file a warranty claim but as of this writing I would not recommend this product.

Good Quality Heavy Duty Hose
This is a good quality hose that has just enough length for me. It is strongly built and definitely would recommend.

Sturdy and thick
We bought this hose for our second home in Florida. The metal hose tube that we previously had melted in the heat. This one seems to hold up pretty well and it is thick and sturdy. I think it's built well and would buy another in the future if needed.

Good quality, so far stands up to summer sun in Southern California
Needed to replace hoses that have been in sun for 10 yrs and have lost their plasticizer and cracked (hoses don't last forever in my climate, especially when sitting in the sun). Have had 3 of these now for a month in the southern California sun, and they seem to be doing fine. No leaks, connectors are sturdy. The only quibble is that they are rolled tightly and then strapped - and the strapping seems to kink the hose because it is pulled so tightly. But the kink seems to come out when hose left in the sun a while.

I wish I has a dollar for every time I've bought 'the last hose you will ever need'. This Is the only brand/model I buy now. It is reasonably flexible, doesn't kink easily, doesn't weigh a ton, is strong, has very good fittings, and is fairly priced. The best all around choice I know of. And it's made in the USA (I think). But beware. There are others out there who use a deceptively similar name, and they're crap. This one is Gilmour, Flexogen, 8-ply. Remember that!

Does a good job. Have had it outside for a couple winters and it's still in good shape.

Overall it's pretty good. Left it outside during this summer with multiple days of heat advisory and is holding up. Only con is that it is somewhat heavy and dragging it can be a small chore because it's not as flexible. But hopefully this means it'll last a longer time. Will update if anything goes wrong.

I really like this hose. Bought another one at Home Hardware 50% off sale. I usually have bad luck with hoses, but this one is great for not tangling, easy to roll up. The "no agro" is worth it in itself. Can you believe people are still buying the "self expanding and contracting" hoses? They should be called Self Exploding Hoses. Ha!

Best hose ever! Bought one last year for my backyard so I give this another go for my garage and quality is just as high and I simply love it.
