I was skeptical about purchasing this type of thing online but I figured I'd give it a shot b/c I could always return it if it didn't work. Much to my surprise this stuff works GREAT! the adhesion is wonderful and it won't ruin the carpet when you remove it. I had to put this on the carpet runner on the stairs b/c it was either this or the cat goes! She was destroying the new carpet runner on the stairs so I had to find something that would keep her away and this stuff worked perfectly- highly recommend even if you don't have a cat!

The adhesive plastic film was exactly what we needed to protect the carpet in our new house when the furniture was delivered - especially the stairs.

After looking at a number of products, due to delivery time, cost, and product description, i decided on purchasing this one without carefully reading the description again before i pullednthe trigger.Keep in mind i did not use this product as it is intended to be used but that is not my main complaint about this otherwise decent product. It does pretty much exactly as it says it does. However, if you dont use such a product and are familiar with such a product then do yourself a favor and buy one that says it is reverse rolled. This means the sticky side of the adhesive is outwards facing instead of normally inwards like a roll of tape.Sure the storage of any left over product is a bit of a pain and you probably need to cut off and throw away one revolution/top layer of the stuff the next time you go to use it because crap has stuck to the adhesive on the most outward layer but the ease of use will far make up for it.This stuff being not reverse rolled or normally rolled like a roll of tape, you need to pull out a section, lay it down and then grab the roll and pull it up while holding the part already laid down onto the floor, then laying down that couple of feet you just pulled up down onto the floor, then repeat.With a reverse rolled, you can kind of get on your knees and just unroll it the entire way you need it much like unrolling a sleeping bag. The time and energy saved, especially for a large area is substantial.And for that, it gets one star deducted. Aside from that, its decent stuff for the price and does what it claims.

Worked very well. I wanted something that would stick to Plywood flooring temporarily and this did the trick. Thanks a bunch !

Bought this product to protect carpet while moving. Easy to put down and take back up when done. Carpet remained clean and well protected. Did not put on hard wood or tile due to other reviews.

I have been using this (store bought) type of carpet protector film in a small heavy traffic area for many many years. Each time the film would last 2-3 years, but with wear and tear, eventually it needs to be replaced. This time, due to the large roll film offered, I purchased it from Amazon. I was so happy with the length that I planed to use it in other areas as well. After placing it on the carpet, a few hours later, the film LIFTED UP by it self, and after stepping on it it turned into waves and ripples like when you throw a stone in the lake. Although I have plenty experience with this type of film, watched the seller's video, and followed the instructions, I thought maybe I did something wrong, and repeated the process 2 more times in different ways. NOTHING worked, every time I ended up with waves and ripples "floating" on top of the carpet. This film is EXTREMELLY thin and elastic ! When you try to pull it off the roll, you end up with pieces of film in your hands. Also, since it is sooo thin and flimsy it sticks to itself very easily with no chance to unglue that part, ending up with a lot of losses.This was a total disappointment, aggravation and waste of time.FORTUNATELLY, the manufacturer has the (unexpected) BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! ... and refunded my money.

In the process of selling our house so we bought this to cover the main walkways of the carpet which has already been cleaned. We want the carpets to stay clean when people tour the house. In order to get it down in a decent manner it takes two people for sure. One to hold the end while the other walks a distance while pulling on the roll for more slack. Both people apply at the same time then make your cut. We have had it down for 4 months now.
