I actually didn't use this right elbow, I used the straight ones, which are excellent. I bought this in case I needed the right angle, but it turns out I did not. (I'll save it for future use)So I milled off a bit of the end to see if this was really copper... and it is. Nice, dead-soft copper.The clamp accepts the square-head bolt from either side, so you can swap directions if needed, and a shoulder nut is used, which is nice. The bolt is long enough to add another nut for accessory wires.The terminal hole is actually machined / reamed, and not as-cast, giving a nice clean smooth finish for optimum contact with the battery terminal.

These are tapered and walk right off the posts when tightened.
These terminals look great, but when you install them and begin tightening, you find they start "walking" up the post due to their larger bottom, smaller top. The only way to use them is to invert them so the smaller opening is to the bottom, so it clamps first. They need to be made with NO taper.
