Out of the two in the pack, only one worked properly. The first one I tried, I had hooked up, got the green light when I turned the power back on, but the receptacle provided no power to anything I plugged into it and did not pass power on to another receptacle that was connected through the Load. Tried the Test and Reset buttons, to no avail. Everything was wired correctly as it's not rocket science. The wiring is very simple and the device is clearly labeled.Update: Was contacted by Bestten who wanted to improve my experience and offered me a replacement which I've accepted. I've upped my rating to 3 stars for the customer service and will try the replacements to see if they are functional or not and update my rating accordingly after that.I took it out and tried the other one, wired it up the same way, and it worked. It powered what I plugged into it and the other receptacle it was connected to got power as well. So I tried the one that didn't work in another area and still no go. It is obviously faulty.I don't have an option to just return the non-functional one so this, in essence, became a single GFCI outlet that cost $22.

The fault indicator light always shows green whether in a fault or working normally. I tested the installation with both the internal and with an external tester that indicated a correct installation and also tested the fault operation all was normal. Only the fault indicator light was not "turning off" as the instructions said it should. I bought two of these both have this problem so it's not just one. Not to happy about this!!! I am using these on a Saltwater Aquarium setup and it doesn't give me much comfort that they are not working exactly as described.UPDATE: Bestten Customer Care contacted me and offer replacements for the faulty units. They have arrived and are working perfectly. I have upped my overall rating to 5 stars. Bestten Customer Care rocks!!!

I bought several of these for my previous house to bring it up to code for resale. They all worked well. I bought two more to go into the dishwashing room at my family deli because the building is old and the floors are always wet. They tested good using my GFCI wiring tester. The only problem I had was getting it to fit back into the receptacle box. The existing wires were too bulky and hard to position behind the GFCI component. And, a couple of the wires kept pulling out of the quick connect hole. The screw had trouble holding them in place.

I needed to replace a few GFCI outlets in my garage, and bought these. This is an excellent product, well-made, and an excellent value for the money. It comes nicely packaged (2 outlets per box, each individually packaged), with complete instructions and all necessary accessory parts (screws and wall plate). Installation was a breeze and they work like a champ. Very happy and will definitely purchase again.

I bought two GFCI outlets to replace old regular ones. After installed the first one successfully ( spent time to figure out which wire is line in and which one is load). However, the second outlet has a defected brass screw which cannot be tightened. So I have to install back the old outlet. Very disappointed.UPDATE: I was contacted by customer support and offered me a replacement. This one worked. Hence I change it to 4 star

I like the outlets, installed one of them in my bathroom about 2 months ago with no problems. Only reason for 4 stars is that the it's so tight that sometimes I have to wiggle things as I'm pushing the prongs in because things don't plug in easily

Have been using these GFCI Outlets in my home. Very important to have GFCI's installed near sinks, bathtubs, and faucets.

Used these to replace a non GFCI outlet and add 1 more outside of the garage. Standard hook up and once your have them wired the green led will illuminate and will need to reset the breaker before using.

These GFCI outlets came quickly and work well. Generally the install and instructions are good, however I ran into a situation that was not covered in the list of scenarios. In my case I was installing the GFCI outlet in a Kitchen in Canada and instead of just a White, Black and ground wire, I had had these plus a red wire. This was not covered in the list and I wasn't sure what to do with it. I understand the red wire was related to the fact that the outlet box is duplex with a light switch. In this case I did not connect the red wire at all and just capped it. This seeded to work for both the outlet and switch.

everything was great up until the time I installed them. The side screws, while you're installing a 14 ga. wire, will fall out trying to get the loop behind it. It's like they didn't leave enough room at the top of the screw. Thats where you normally slide you pre bent loop in to tighten. I had 6 receptacles to install. 2 of them were the CGFI's. The other receptacles went in without an issue. The CGFI's I finally installed using the back wire method. If you are happy doing it that way then they will suit your purpose.

If you are trying to buy this kind of product from the local Home Depot, it will likely cost the same as buying this 2-pack. It is a good deal.

Used this product in my garden shed for outside lighting. Fairly easy to install but difficult to install the smaller screws to secure the cover plate.

Bought 2 15 amp gfci outlets. Did not work properly made buzzing noise when testing like it wasn't contacting properly no UL or CSA certifacation.

This is a good receptical. I have installed only one week ago.time will tell how it stands. I will update my review in few months.

Much cheaper than at my local hardware store and in my opinion of equal value and quality.
