DL 24110 6565 Universal Mounting Bracket

It's a decent bracket for my purpose and holds to the wall securely.I had to modify my hand winch mounting plate a bit to line up the holes. But that was really a minor inconvenience and a reasonably quick job.

I needed to mount my winch on a 6"x 6" post using thru-bolts but they were too long to go directly through the winch mounting holes. Long bolts worked with the bracket and short bolts could be used to attach to the winch. The bracket is very strong since it is made from 1/4" steel.

This simple bracket is a solid support for Dutton winches. If your winch is not directly bolted to your uprights, it will give you alternative orientations. The coating should make it significantly more weatherable and improves its appearance.

This bracket is top quality and plenty strong for my application/winch.

Bought to use with my Dutton-Lainson DLB2500A Brake Winch 2500 lb . I ended up not using it. But man is this bracket built like a tank. I held onto it too long or I would of sent it back. I'll find another use for it here on the farm.

This item neatly solved a mounting problem for a Dutton-Lainson winch (for hoisting a kayak in a garage.)

I was amazed at how sturdy this bracket is. I could put my jeep on it if I could find a way.

Aided in mounting winch to wall in garage. A 2X8 was nailed between studs which allowed bracket to be bolted to 2X8.
