Just hanging around!
Let's start this review of with a bad experience.A bad experience that involved a hammock! My husband and I lived in Panama for almost 2 years. There is hammocks everywhere done there. Of course we also wanted one. So on our way to the city we stopped off by a roadside souvenir shop and bought us a couple. We were so excited to get home, hang them and be lazy.My husband hung the first one up and I hear him call my name. He was sagging. While I won't give you numbers, I weigh more then my husband and if his skinny little butt was almost hitting the ground, then I wasn't going to try mine! We never did use them, but I still had the picture of a lazy afternoon in the hammock. Now we are back in Kentucky and I seen this hammock. I read more into it. While it says light weight, it holds up to 400 lbs! It is easy to hang, it is easy to carry around if you travel. While it is durable, it is lightweight and has a nice little sack that it can be stuffed in between uses. I am going to be visiting my sister over the holidays and I have thought of taking this with me to sleep on! I won't do that probably but still. It is nice. If you are looking for a strong durable hammock, i suggest this one. I am loving mine and know I will use it for many years. Now I am ready for summer to roll around again.I was sent this particular one to test out and then share my honest unbiased opinion of it. While it was sent to me for this purpose, i have tried it out and only shared my honest thoughts about it.

Good Hammock, little tight for me
Comes with 2 carabiners, self storage nylon bag, 2 high tenacity poly ropes, hammock. I did not use the ropes (I weigh over 230 pounds and don't khow how well this will hold) I bought the Grizzly Hammock Straps, which has a load limit of 400 lbs. I felt a lot more secure with these straps. Combined with the Grizzly straps and the hammock, installation time took less than a minute to set up. This hammock is not as wide as the Arkadia Atmos double hammock it felt tight when I got in this. I am over 230 pounds and 6' 2" tall. I had no problems getting in an out of the hammock. Very relaxing. Since this is smaller than the Arkadia Atmos hammock, I let the grandkids use this hammock. Gave only four stars because of the included rope which I feel is not long enough to make any adjustments to hang the hammock. Note: I received a discount on this product in exchange for an honest review.

Perfect size for my 6'3 220lb frame
Colors are true to picture. Setup as soon as I received it. Perfect size for my 6'3 220lb frame. Seams are reinforced and carry bag is perfect. Never heard of Blue Ridge before, but I would put this hammock up against the quality of all the other name brands out there. Couldn't be happier with the quality. I received this item in exchange for an honest review, my opinion is based solely on my experience with other similar products and not on the discount I received.

Received item at a discounted price for unbiased review. Hammock is made of nice material. Panels are triple Stitched Together not like some hammocks ive tried, those didn't last long they started to rip at Stitchings. Hanging hardware is nice and heavy duty. All in all this hammock is made with real quality and i would recommend it.

Backpacking or back yard - this is a great, easy to hang hammock for any location!
I’m a sucker for hammocks. It’s just hard to be tense while laying in a hammock. So when I was offered the chance to purchase this hammock at a reduced price in exchange for my honest assessment and review of the product, I jumped on it. Summer is over around here, fall is moving quickly, and any chance to prolong these days is welcome. The most noticeable thing about this hammock is the weight and size. It is incredibly lightweight and packs down to a nice compact bundle. I’ve included a photo with a 12oz can for size comparison. With the included ropes and carabiners, this hammock weighs in at about 20ozs. Just the hammock by itself weighs a bit over 12ozs, the hefty carabiners add approx 4ozs of weight. The ropes are each 6.5 feet long. Right now I’m keeping the ropes packed with the hammock until I can get some better straps. This is good sturdy rope, but I’d like to have something that gives me more options regarding distance between trees as well as repeatedly handle some rough bark. I do appreciate that the hammock did come with these ropes though so I could immediately hang it and enjoy. Nothing worse than a hammock and no way to hang! The hammock packs into its own stuff sack which is attached to the side of the hammock - which means you never lose it! This stuff sack is positioned about midway down the length of the hammock so it’s also handy for holding a book, phone, drink (with some practice), etc while you’re hanging around. At the ends of the hammock are two hefty carabiners for attaching to ropes or hanging straps, making hanging a cinch (no pun intended). You can have this strung up in minutes and be well on your way to a nice fall nap in no time. The material is lightweight and feels good against your skin, and though our temps aren’t warm enough to worry about getting hot right now, the material is so thin and light, I can’t imagine it will be hot to lay in. And speaking of lying in it, it’s just what you imagine. Cradles your body and swings gently. You can curl the edges up around you if you need a bit of a breeze block, or flip the edges under your elbows to open it up more. The hammock is close to 5ft wide at it’s widest point (in the middle), so you have quite a bit more room than you think you do. Enough for another person they say. The weight limit is stated to be 400lbs but I haven’t wanted to share so far, so I’ve not really pointed this out to anyone yet. :) A second hammock may be on the Christmas wish list this year!I haven’t had a chance to get this out on the trail yet, backyard use is all I’ve been able to do so far, but we are going to be on the beach in a couple of weeks and this hammock will be going with us. If I could figure out how to swing it, (ha, another unintentional pun!), I’d take it to work with me. I’m obviously quite happy with this hammock, it feels well made and can go anywhere, comes with all you need to get it up and swinging, feels great to stretch out in and looks great (love the blue color!). I honestly can’t think of anything I’d suggest to improve upon this product. Two thumbs and ten toes up from me!I did purchase this at a discounted price in exchange for my honest assessment and review.
