As an avid tea lover, I am always looking for new teas to try. I've tried a few cherry teas, and most were lacking in the depth I was hoping for when it comes to the fruitier elements of a cherry tea. With that said, I've finally found a genuinely good cherry flavored tea this round. It has the long awaited flavor profile that makes this a top tier tea I will buy again in spite of the month plus wait for it to arrive. It could have come faster for the shipping costs involved, but I will still endure the wait again if I must when I reorder this tea simply because I found one with a very good cherry flavor that lingers on the tongue both hot and cold style drinking.

Don't let the container fool you, it arrives half full.Great flavor, needs little or no sugar.I make 4 cups at a time by adding two full tablespoons to 4 cups hot water, cover with a tea towel and let it steep for an hour. Then I pour it through a strainer, and pop it into the fridge.It's pretty concentrated, and I mix it with unsweetened tea to taste.It's helped me break my really unhealthy multi-day Cherry Coke habit- and I don't have to suffer through artificial sweeteners (I hate all of them).If you feel differently, you could always add the artificial sweetener of your choice.

My first taste of this tea was from a Basilur sampler pkg. and I tried it last of all because it didn't look like something I would enjoy. Lo and behold, with my first sip it became my favorite! It has a very pleasantly fruity flavor, but doesn't hit you over the head. I have it in the morning when I want a change from my usual China black, and it provides a cheery wake up for the day. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants some variety in their tea repertoire. Plus it comes in a lovely sturdy tin!

Love this black tea, the lid doesn’t seal on the canister though, super loose fitting. The black tea has the most strawberry flavor of any black tea I have tried.
