Im starting to work on leather and I think this set comes very well equiped with everything to start. The quality its relatable to the price.

The groover worked as described.. Novice buyers must be aware to remove the plastic protective coating on the tip. Also as with any groover leather must be occasionally manually removed from the tip. Very good product, on time delivery..

It works, but you can tell the quality is middling, which is go be expected at the price point. The ring that holds the guide in place will work loose on its own and can be a hassle to set. As long as you get it secured it cuts a great stitching groove.

I use this for stitching leather knife sheaths. It works fine. Great delivery.

Have only used the stitching groover attachment. The set screw is already stripped out and the only times I've had to touch it were when i put the tip on the first time, and yesterday when it just completely fell out. Screw on clamp for holding distance bar touches the bar so when you try to tighten you very easily mess up the distance. Bought this because it was cheap, got what I paid for I guess.

I had an issue with the front cap on the handle coming loose. A little glue fixed it right up. Otherwise, it works as expected. I've used it now on several projects and I haven't had any issues.

This is a good tool !...but it is smaller than I expected !.. It was a fair price point with good service and fast delivery !!

Sturdy, great set of tools for beginner hobbyists. I would give this set 5 stars but one of the tools for which I bought this set, is not as the one advertised. The one I received is on the left, the one advertised is on the right. Not the same :(

I bought this kit thinking it would be a good enough kit to start trying to do some small leather work, we are talking a small wallet or watch band, what I found is the tools here are not sufficient for any good quality leather or leather work. they look the same as other tools but the quality is sub par (I ended up buying each tool I needed individually) I would say the only thing that works ok here is the skiving knife, I tried to use the leather stitching prong to punch through 2 thin layers of leather and it couldn't even do that. I didn't test all the tools just the following: Skiving Knife, stitching prong, edge beveller, stitching groover, skiving tool. Overall if you want to do some really light craft work its probably ok but anything to deal with actual leather more then 1mm thick.. I don't think this is the right kit for you.

As advertised, well worth the money.

Seems quite well made. Would take a bit more time to experience how it actually works.

While overall the set looks decent for the beginner, upon closer examination some of the pieces were visibly used. Some pieces even had rust marks. See my photos. Needless to say I’m more than disappointed about this. If you are selling your used parts, please reflect it in your ad. Would not recommend based off of this alone because it’s misleading. More disappointed by this than the overall product. I would’ve been complete Satisfied if all the tools were new.
