It's a terrain crate... Monsters weren't really necessary?
As mentioned, nothing is painted. The dragon is an okay sculpt, but at least on mine the feet don't really line up with the base (angle of the legs is off), and it is a much harder plastic than the Reaper Bones material someone mentioned in the Q&A. Some work with a heat gun could probably get it adjusted, but I haven't bothered yet. The other monster minis are mostly disappointing in my opinion and seem very fragile, although a few do have potential. If you're just starting out with minis, it is a decent assortment, but if you already have an extensive mini collection and are looking for some dungeon dressing, the monsters probably aren't very helpful.On the other hand, the furniture, treasure piles, and actual terrain that I bought it for are nice sculpts, highly detailed, and should enhance my dungeon maps nicely. Overall I am fairly happy, although I can't help wishing they'd included more terrain pieces and left the minis to others. In the long run, I may end up wishing I had purchased a few of the more focused terrain sets instead, but for now I'd give this assortment a solid B+ for my purposes.

A great introduction to gaming minis
This is a great way to get started with minis. While the mini figures are not the best out there, as the plastic is kind of “cheap,” they will do fine for most table top gaming, especially if you paint them. The real value for me was the furniture and other mini accessories- a great collection to get started for a decent price.

Cheap but decent
Overall not a bad product, but many of the miniatures are bent, broken, or misshapen. The plastic is not rigid at all and the miniatures are fairly cheap. However, this is a lot of stuff for one box and most of the larger plastic (chairs, tables, doors) are in good condition.
