Just OK, misleading size
I searched for an indoor softball practice ball and when I found this, I thought it was the answer. However, the size comparison is misleading, it is comparable to an 11” softball. Not a 12” standard size. This may work for younger girls who are using the smaller size ball. I knew as soon as I held one that it is not the right size. I grabbed my daughters ball to compare and was right. For girls who want to practice fielding and throwing with a standard 12” size softball, these are not for you. Also, it is a soft plastic, not “squishy” material by any means. I threw it against our glass patio door reluctantly but it made a dull thud and bounced off. I think it’s ok for windows but thought it was more of a squish material. Im concerned that the wind cut outs will cause issues with throwing accurately or cause the ball to move more easily/erratically in their path. These are very lightweight. Will be returning and searching for standard sized softball with a squishy material for a bit more weight & durability.

I wish I had them sooner!!
These things are great! My niece is still a bit timid of the ball, even throwing lightly she sometimes says away! These have helped build her confidence in catching! They are extremely sturdy! The kids have jumped on them in the trampoline we’ve dropped them through the pitching machine, the dog loves to play fetch with them! They have held up great! I wish I had them sooner!!

They don't hurt as much as wiffle balls when my daughter hits them at me.
My daughter hits balls right back to the pitcher, and sometimes they hit me. Whiffle balls left many marks on my face and chest, but these don't leave marks. It is also great that you can step on them, and they pop back into shape. Also, you get that great sound when you hit them with an aluminum bat, similar to a real baseball/softball.

Great for indoors
So much better than a hard plastic wiffle ball. You can hit these balls hard and the design keeps them from going far.Best part is that kids can hit balls in the basement without me worrying that they are breaking the house.Easy to pitch. I will buy again.

Nice addition to my coaching bag
The various fields in the area don’t like it when you play soft toss into their fences. This was a perfect solution as it is the same size as a softball, is easy for the coach to throw up for the players to hit over and over and it doesn’t go too far when it’s Hit so it’s easy to track down. Good little solution and easy to add to the coaches equipment bag.

Your windows are safe (so far)!
Bought this product so my 4th grade daughter and I could do some soft toss hitting without the fear of breaking a window outside our house. These balls are just as advertised and do the trick. She is primed for a great travel season.

Look nice and durable.
Bought for my niece's birthday. She hasn't received them yet so I don't know the extent of quality, but they look very durable.

Great product...good job
These are fantastic. I'm tossing balls for my 11yo and needed something I can take a hit from. Had one hit me full speed in the chest and it stung a bit but very tolerable. Love these

Very Durable Practice Balls
I'm 6'4", around 250 and play a lot of softball. I built a makeshift batting cage in my garage to hit in. I've been using these balls for two weeks and I'm very surprised how well they've held up. I'm hitting 50-100 balls a day and I'm hitting as hard as I can. I'll update if I split one but for now, they're holding up great!Update: I've now been using the balls 3-4 times a week for 2 months and they're all cracking and splitting. I hit hard but the durability is not there. I'll post a picture when I get home.
