PETG
Product had previously been used as only three quarters left on the spool, and something spilt on it making it sticky which caused it to go brittle and snap when uncoiling it, Amazon notified and reimbursed, Product was disposed, bought another of same elsewhere which performed brilliantly, finish was what was expected, no tangling and great value for money.

Great results, but you need to get your settings honed in first
This was my first ever PETG filament, but as I have been getting amazing results with their PLA+ filament I thought I would try eSuns PETG.I have to say that 1st impressions were not good, I was really struggling to get good results at first, with problems with bad adhesion, blobbing, stringing, layer adhesion etc, however I now know this was all down to my configuration and not the filament.I am using and Ender 3D V2, and Cura as my slicer. After many different attempts I found that downloading eSuns material profile for PETG helped, but after some trial and error I find the optimum print temperature for my printer is 138 (profile default is 145) I guess there is some tolerance in the temperature calibration of different printers.I also found you have to print fine and slow. I have made the following adjustments to the default Cura Dynamic Profile0.16 layer height0.2 for 1st layerBuild Plate 70Print Speed 30Wall, Top/Bottom Speed 15Initial Layer Speed 15Number of slower layers 5Cooling 20IroningI also had to get me e steps and bed level spot on, any under extrusion really showed on large flat areas.I use the smooth side of a textured glass build plate, and cote with basic watered down PVA glue, for perfect adhesion when printing, but once cooled the print just falls off with no prizing required. So it took a fair bit of trial and error, but the results are now amazing, with very shiny and smooth top and bottom layers.

Cheap and nasty spool
The filament is really nice but why use a cheap card board spool. I have only used a couple of meters and the spool sides are coming away from the tube. I’ll be really lucky if I don’t have to rewind onto a proper spool. I won’t buy this make again unless it’s on a plastic.I reconsidered my star rating and increased by one as it was at the cheap end of the scale

Ran out of Prusa PETG and needed a replacement quickly it worked well.
As I said in the title ran out of Prusa PETG and needed some more PETG to finish the job. Worked well with the same settings. Frankly couldn’t tell the difference, excepting a much lower price for the eSun product.

Top Quality
After calibrating my 3D printer for this filament, I had consistent results thanks to this filament. Highly recommend it.[Be aware that this filament is glossy]

flows cleanly, prints well, feels almost OEM in my P1S
I bought the black version of this petg filament to use on my P1S and to be quite frank I've found the compatibility in my opinion to be at least equivalent to the OEM branded stuff - I slightly miss the convenience of the RFID tags - but the performance is very similar with the generic profile. I opened the vac-pack, popped it onto the heated print bed at 60c for 5 hours and then popped it into my AMS - it flows super cleanly, with only the very minimal stringing. It really sticks like crazy to my PEI bed surface though, and I find that for the easiest removal I have to remove it whilst still slightly warm - it's almost glued on when it completely cools.

eSUN PETG Solid White - Horrid Widely Variable Results - Wet Filament Received!
This is not going to be a good review of the eSUN Solid White PETG filament.I purchased 3 spools, fulfilled by Amazon, that arrived next day. Needed for a specific job. Having used eSUN filament before I had no hesitation selecting this. The experience is a tale of woe!Spool 1 - Initially had troubles with it jamming the direct drive extruder. Several cold pulls later I managed to get the filament to flow. So I started the 27hour job. It ran to completion with one horrid layer split which I may be able to repair. But it may face a reprint.Spools 2 and 3 - I launched the next 26hour job and within the first layer it had jammed the extruder! I performed a couple of cold pulls and tried again. Same thing. So I ran some Extrusion tests at various temperatures. Each time the filament came out knobbly and brittle - classic wet filament!Just to check it wasn't my machine I ran the same tests with PLA, PLA+ and two different brands of PETG - all of which came out as you'd expect; smooth, no bumps or blisters and not at all brittle!Right now I am drying one of the two eSUN spools to see if that makes any difference. If not then all three spools are going back for refund!

Good filament, rubbish spools
The filament is actually very good, just as good as bambulab petg. Unfortunately the cardboard spools are rubbish. I’ve had several that are deformed by the vacuum packing. They are also not compatible with bambulabs AMS - with the official esun printed adapter rings the spool is too big for the AMS lid to close. The only option is to rewind it onto a plastic spool which is a big hassle. I understand they want to appear to be ‘eco friendly’ but we’re buying 1KG of plastic. Saving the few extra grams of plastic it would take for a decent spool is not going to save the planet. A much better option would be to have reusable spools and sell refills at a reduced cost (like bambulabs). Sort it out please eSun you’re doing yourselves an injustice.

Nice results out of the box. Rich color
Worked nicely, like other PETG I have used.I ran a "temperature ladder" test from 260 C down to 210 C in 5 degree steps. The recommended temperature on the packaging is 230 to 250C. I found that all temperatures gave good overall structure, but with quite a bit of stringing. Raised letters were best from 225 to 245. Indented letters were best at the coolest temperatures and got steadily worse (but never bad) as the heat went up. The surface was shiny except at 210 and 215, where it was dull.In the photo the stringing looks pretty bad, but remember that this was printed with no supports. Normally a flat area like that would be supported.I printed a small box, about 60 x 80 mm with hollowed 3 mm walls. It looks much better that the test ladder, though there are some thin strings to clean up.

love the translucent green petg -
i love the translucent green petg - works wel with a spool ring if you use a amsals decent price for petg filementjust dont print pla after printing petg -your pla wont extrude if using petg -due to the temp difrancebetween petg (240) and pla (205 a 220) it wil clog you nozzle .espacialy using a bambolab ams
