Greenworks 40V 185 MPH Variable Speed Cordless Blower Vacuum, 4.0 AH Battery Included 24322 (Renewed)

I picked this up a few years ago when my corded leave blower/vacuum died. I have been very happy with the vacuum component. It is powerful and does a good job other than struggling with wet leaves, but that is to be expected. However, the blower component has never worked. It just says it is overheated immediately. Since I really bought it mostly for the vacuum component I did not return it. So in terms of the vacuum component I say it is a 5 star.

The battery is almost impossible to remove. The locking ‘lever” sticks and when I finally get it engaged, I need a hammer to get the battery off the unit. It’s a little easier to remove from the charger, but not much. I would not recommend. For vacuuming, it’s got to be on full power or it won’t pick up leaves.

It is heavier than the volt, but a more effective blower. Haven't used the vacuum. I have the Ego backpack and think the Greenworx is as effective as the Ego - and much easier than getting strapped into the harness. But when I have to start moving lots of leaves, I'll probably go with the Ego because of the weight difference. I am a woman mid 70s.

The blower/vacuum has worked great for a year and now is petering out! will just shutdown after 10-15 seconds of operation. Saw on line this is apparently a chronic problem with this product. I am wondering if anyone has a solution, perhaps I can get a replacement unit? Frustrating after such a good product worked well for a short period of time. After waiting three weeks for customer support, they tell me I am out of warranty and I need to take it to a repair shop on my nickel. I am sure the cost to fix is going to be comparable to a new unit. I cannot recommend buying this product.

This one is a very powerful blower for being a rechargeable! I did the front and back yard on one charge! With all the dust and leaves we get here in Arizona I decided not to use the suction vacuum bag due to possible exposure to Valley Fever! I used the highest speed the whole time and still didn’t run out of power!

I love buying refurbished products, because they have gone through an additional qualify control process, but this refurb was a dud in many ways. I think the additional functionality of the (weak) vacuum makes the unit cumbersome and the leaf blower design much less effective than the Greenworks option for ~$130.

I live in an area where leaves drop daily from scrub oaks. I wanted something that would suck them up, not blow them around. I'm a 60 year old woman and wanted something light enough and needs no cord. This was perfect and works great for my decks and walkways.

Great blower, high power and lightweight.
