I love the wider top and the iron rest at the end. It's very sturdy as far as ironing boards go. Observations: •The placement for the height adjustment release is a little hard to reach on the far side, it's tucked under. •The narrow end isn't quite as narrow as a standard ironing board making it difficult to tuck into tight spots and curved seams. •The bottom rack, for me, is virtually useless it's obstructed by most things when they are draped over the board. And it's in the way if I need to be seated while ironing. Knees knock against it. (I'm old, sometimes I need to sit.) I'd like to remove it but not sure if it's part of the structural integrity of the board itself. •A way to hang or set a spray bottle at the end where the iron sits would be very handy. Just a little bar that the sprayer handle could be hooked on would be sufficient. To keep the sprayer off the board itself and prevent it getting bumped off. Overall, a very nice ironing board.

It's not often that you come across such quality in an ironing board, but Brabantia exceeds expectations with this "C" model ironing board! Everything about it is perfect for the best ironing experience I've ever had. I especially love how easy it is to adjust the height, the solid stability, the extra wide board making ironing larger items so much easier, the quality and security of the stainless steel iron holder and the shelf below to hold ironed and folded clothing. IMHO, this ironing board is a one-time purchase for a lifetime. I am 70 yrs. old with years of ironing experience and I am not employed by or affiliated with Brabantia.

So in today's world it is hard to find good quality stuff at ANY price. This brand and this ironing board are EXCELLENT!! I cannot recommend this enough. It makes ironing faster and safer. It is super stable and easy to move and of great quality...you know like stuff used to be made. I am sure this is German engineered in all the best ways. Should last you a lifetime!

The Brabantia 321924 Ironing Board with Linen Rack (size C) is perfect for my needs. No more stooping over the board - this one goes to new heights! Great if you’re tall. I iron on it, but also use it as a crafting table, setting down a cutting mat for a solid surface to work on. It’s a wide board! Great for crafters and makers. I have the height set one notch below the highest setting and it perfect for me, at 5’7” tall. The cotton cover is nice and I don’t feel the need to ‘upgrade’ it in any way. Not till it shows signs of wear! Finally, this board is Sturdy and SOLID. I don’t have to “babysit” it, worrying about tipping my iron or the actual board if I bang in to it (small space living hazard). Yes, this one is a keeper! PS: It’s heavy, but this is what makes it so stable.

Stability used to be a given in ironing boards but it appears this is no longer the case. I had to return two previous boards. The first ($70) rocked like a cradle. The second ($80) had the stability of a trampoline. (Thank goodness for Amazon's free return shipping.) I was afraid to get my hopes up with the third, the Brabantia Steam Rest ($99), but it did not disappoint. It’s solid, well made and well worth the money. It replaces a 60s-era board I inherited. The old board was as stable as a rock and had no plastic parts, but it was rusting. They don’t make them like they used to, but this Brabantia model comes close. I like the extra width and the iron stand, which I consider a safety feature. The rack is a nice extra, but not that important to me. What’s important is the board’s STABILITY. Plus, it has a 10-year warranty. Anyone shopping for an ironing board should go straight to this one.

This is a wonderful ironing board--sturdy, good solid cover, nice features like an resting spot for the iron and another for un-ironed clothing. I used my last ironing board for almost 40 years until it rusted through. I waited so long to buy a new one because I hate that the newer versions are smaller, meaning it takes me longer to iron, especially XL men's shirts. So, this Brabantia seemed perfect being having extra wide dimensions. I wanted to love it and do prefer it over the smaller ones; but it is almost too wide. It works great on XL men's shirts, but my women's small shirts get stretched out. It is however terrific for ironing curtains, or bed spreads.

THIS IS REALLY A GREAT IRONING BOARD. Strong and stable, nice and wide, for broad shoulders. Side cradle for iron rest is firm, the shelf below is a great help to keep sleeves or longer items from resting on the floor. That's what my wife says, it's her choice. The price via Amazon is good, but it's not a cheap. Other less costly ironing boards don't are not of the same quality.

This ironing board is outstanding. It’s very wide so makes pressing smaller (kids) shirts kind of awkward, but I also use a sleeve board so this isn’t really an issue. The board is very well built; it is sturdy, stable, and the iron rest is great. I also didn’t realize how useful the wire rack underneath would be; I mostly use it as a drying rack for my dress socks, but also as a holding area while I fold my clothes. This board actually makes pressing my clothes more enjoyable because the height prevents me from being hunched over and it is so stable that I don’t feel like I’m going to constantly knock it over (it isn’t lightweight). It folds up just as easily as it deploys. The linen cover is also great; it is miles ahead of the cheap covers found on most boards.

Great ironing board. Strong steady board, built to last but my only disappointment is can't change the ironing board cover because the part that holds the iron is pushed up against the iron board making it impossible to remove cover without ripping it.

I’m a quilter and I iron a lot I mean a lot my old ironing board was a 13” and it was bowing in the middle. I needed a new board so as I read the reviews on tons of products I then realized that they came in different sizes which guess I was oblivious to. I love this ironing board so much! It’s perfect in every way. The weight and height, the width is a God send and the linen rack is such a bonus I’ve never had before. I am not kidding this is the most perfect ironing board I’ve ever had I am so glad I bought it And I’m glad I can share my experience with everybody. Ironing is a task and I actually am looking forward to doing my ironing now.

I'm in love with this ironing board! The size saves me SOOO much time. The cushion is sturdy enough that the lines bellow the board's cushion won't appear on what you iron. The iron holder is very very sturdy and safe. I also like that you can adjust the handle on this part to change the upright position of the iron. I also like the big think handle it has for flattening the board when you wanna put it away or change. The height maximum is AWESOME! Lastly, the rack attacked bellow the board is handy and looks great

L'asse è perfetto. Solido, stabile e come lo volevo. Arrivato perfettamente imballato e protetto con foglio in plastica antiurto. Il tutto chiuso in una pellicola in plastica nera sottovuoto. Facile il disimballo, l'asse è facilmente apribile grazie alla leva che si tiene premuta e lo fa regolare all'altezza desiderata. Dotato anche di alloggio per i piedini che lo fa tenere chiuso senza il rischio che si apra durante lo spostamento. Sta tranquillamente in uno spazio di 15 cm da chiuso. Il materiale è ottimo così come la copertura in tessuto, anche se ho preferito acquistarne un'altra da mettere sopra affinché non si rovini. Sono molto soddisfatta dell'acquisto, effettuato ieri mattina e che mi è stato consegnato il giorno dopo grazie alla opzione Prime. Allego immagini del prodotto acquistato. Troppo tardi ho pensato di voler fare foto anche all'oggetto imballato ma avevo già aperto il tutto. Lo consiglio. Vale più di quanto costa. Grazie Brabantia e Amazon!
