Very Easy, Good Results
Ok, this is the first time I have ever spray painted vehicle trim but I do have general spray paint experience. I used it on the bottom part of a plastic rear bumper which was this really weird, faded and weathered grey color that should have been black all along. It came out a matte black which matched the other trim on the vehicle. No one would know I did it myself unless they got right up onto the seams or did this kind of work. It is certainly passable for the road and was preferable to purchasing a new black bumper for an old car.I wanted to do it in my garage (with the doors open) so the breeze wasn't a factor and used about 5 big plastic drop cloths all over the place. I was sure to cover anything I didn't want black. I did not use primer, I just cleaned it and made sure it was dry. The nozzle was a little different from what I was accustomed to, typically spray paint comes out in a circular "O" shape but this came out in a vertical "I" shape. Since I was going from a light grey to a dark black, I used 3 coats. I let it dry for an hour and a half between sprayings (this was just a random choice I made, the can says nothing about this) but it was dry to the touch 10 or 15 minutes later when I touched it. I could have probably put another coat on it but the difference was so drastic I was very pleased. There is an area where I let it run on the second coat, it's not very noticeable but I know where it is so I see it. The can is pretty big, you can get a lot of use out of it, I have plenty left over. I also used one of those spray gun handles which are a must for working with spray paint and made the job a lot less tedious. I used frog tape on the seam of the metal with the plastic bumper and then just masking tape on top of that to hold the drop cloth in place. I took the tape off an hour and a half after the final spraying. Everything looked clean. I let it dry over night and drove it the next day although the can says it reaches full hardness in 48 hours. So far it is holding up, it completed the look and took away a noticeable distraction. Hopefully it doesn't wear off during the winter and summer. Considering I really didn't know what I was doing and if you exclude the time waiting between coats and covering everything before hand I probably only did about 10 minutes of unskilled work so I'm very satisfied with the results and return on investment. It's worth a shot.

Excellent for trim
I used this paint to paint over plastic chrome trim pieces. I did use a highly recommended adhesion promoter that was thoroughly clean and wiped down with denatured alcohol prior to Painting.I saw one review that said it didn't tell you how long to wait between coats. I guess that's been updated because it said 3 to 5 minutes.I ended up putting four light coats on it. I did have a splotch or 2 early on until I figured out the best method. But the other coats quickly covered it up and it is undetectable.Great color for the trim. The multiple coats made it look flawless.Be sure to turn it upside down and spray until all of the black is out between coats. Then shake it between coats and spray one squirt away from your painted area before painting. I found this prevents droplets on the surface of your paint jobGreat product and I'm very pleased. I plan to use it on other trim for my truck both to fix faded black trim and covering chrome

Excellent Paint
Bought this by recommendation for my Barracuda plastic argent grill surrounds and aluminum "egg crate" inserts. Followed product directions. Several coats turned the basic silver grills black. I'm really pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend this paint.

Good stuff
Hands down the best exterior trim paint i have found. After painting, my trim has been out in the weather for over 2 years. Still nice and black.

Amazing Product
The media could not be loaded. Works EXACTLY as advertised. The before video shows 11 years of Florida sun on my Jeep JK fenders. The Trim Black spray brought them back to like new. I am extremely impressed. It sprays on easily and dries very fast.

Factory finish with proper prep
You must sand your part smooth. Instructions say 400 grit but I would recommend using 600 after the 400 as it will not totally cover the 400 sand scratches. Also apply 2 very light coats and then 2 medium coats for proper coverage. The Instructions say just 2-3 medium coats but I found that the finish was not good. Also, DO NOT spray in high humidity!

If used correctly leaves a flawless finish
I've been a professional furniture refinisher for 27 years. So, I've been spraying finishes for at least 30 years or so. If used correctly, and you do not try to bypass any of the recommended steps this product will leave a flawless finish. I was concerned as to what the exact sheen is once cured. Some reviewers say flat some say satin. I lightly scuff sanded the item to be sprayed with a 400 grit sandpaper and cleaned it with denatured alcohol. I then sprayed a light coat on the item. Since it was 27 degrees in my garage, I quickly turned on a hair dryer and directed the hot air directly on the newly sprayed item. I watched it dry within a several seconds. I did this about 3 to 4 times using heavier coats each time. I noticed, that with each coat the sheen got a little higher. The sheen topped out at a low satin sheen. Sort of like an egg shell type sheen. The finish looks factory applied. I highly recommend this spray especially if you are blacking out portions of your auto interior or exterior trims. I found it much better to use this product than to purchased black covers to give the appearance of the trim being blacked out. I know that there are some portions of trim that cannot be removed to black them out. So, with those pieces of trim I just purchase the black covers and spray them with this product before installation. Even though the plastic trim covers are already black, their finish do not look as OEM as they will when sprayed with this product. I've included photos of a project that I completed. These are photos of when I blacked out a portion of my steering wheel trim from silver to black. Good luck.
