1/2 Inch Square Drive to 1/4 Inch Hex Female Socket Adapter Quick Release Chuck Converter Drill Chucks Adaptor Conversion for Impact and Ratchet Wrench, Set of 2

This is a pretty nice and tough little adapter. It fit securely on the 1/2" drive of my impact wrench, and easily accepts 1/4" hex bits. The quick release sleeve works well when inserting or removing bits. However, with hard impact use, sometimes it seems to get stuck. I've had to twist/pull the 1/4" bit with pliers to be able to remove the adapter. However, that was after some serious hard use with the impact wrench. The adapter is sturdy. It has survived me breaking a couple 1/4" phillips driver bits already. The my driver bits had to be replaced, but the adapter keeps working, so it really can take some punishment and keep working. I'm pretty happy with this 1/2" to 1/4"hex adapter.

Not very durable as others have commented. One of them lasted through a few hundred 5” lag screws, the other didn’t even make it through 20 before it would no longer hold the T30 bit in place.Being able to use these with a 1/2” impact does drastically speed up driving Longer lag screws over using a 1/4” hex impact driver. For the price they did pay for themselves. But I feel like I’d need to keep 6 or so on hand at all times for when they break.

I wanted this to keep for my Milwaukee M12 1/2” stubby impact wrench, to use s a spare drill if needed. Not sure what the rubber ring or post is for though. Bonus, i didn’t realize it came with two, so I put the extra one in my socket set if ever needed for anything.

Its great,but the small hex phillips keep pushing in no matter how much i try to lock it in

I used 3 times and it broke in pieces

This replaces a Dewalt, which fell apart fairly quickly. It fits well, does not wiggle much (compared to the Dewalt). I'm happy so far.

I am not one to abuse stuff but paring this with a metabo impact driver is a little unfair. It's working fine, no distortion, all bit fit properly. Excellent value.
