The clock has everything I was looking for: 24-hours dimmable display, three great alarm tunes to wake up to (I love the waves and seagulls - I actually leave it on a while after waking up, which I have never done with any alarm clock before!), very easy to understand manual on the backside of the clock, easy off-switch for week-ends, big display.The only thing it doesn't have is a battery back-up in case of a power failure. We'll definitely be late for school if that ever happens over night. And some people might find the blinking dots symbolizing the seconds irritating. I don't care about that, so the clock is perfect for me.

This is my second review of this clock. I was not totally happy with the first one I got but the company kindly provided with a replacement clock and it works great and is also much improved over my first clock. The Customer Service is truly outstanding and I appreciate their efforts.

I won't use the alarm, never have, but need to know the time most mornings and this clock, with the 5 brightness settings and simple structure fits the bill. Set it and forget it. The blue is therapeutic, even! I highly recommend.

The numbers on the clock are large and bright. When the power goes out the clock does not have the be reset. These features are important to me because I’m nearsighted and we have frequent power surges here.

It is quiet...I hate to be jolted out of my sleep! It has three types of sounds...all natural; they awaken you without startling! The light can be dimmed...it doesn't keep me up at night with the glare! Love it!

Easy to use for my 92 year old Dad.

I love that the display can be toned down or brightened up. Furthermore it is very, very easy to use and easy to set the time with. Small enough that it doesn't take up the whole night stand. Great price too.

EDIT: Within a week of writing my original review, today, an Amazon box shows up with a new alarm clock with white LEDs and it is all the difference!! Perfect!! But immediately after setting it up I thought maybe a different color other than blue would have been better. I find it's hard to read and I do not wear glasses. It's like your eyes need to adjust to the blue color. I've had it for over a month and it's the same it's not better over time getting use to it. Aesthetically, it is a beautiful design I really like the curvaceous style.

I have tried many radio alarm clocks and on the whole found them impossible to program for one reason or another. However, this was super easy to set and the buttons are large enough for anyone who suffers from arthritis or any other problem which makes using buttons on gadgets, difficult to use. Unlike many products, the instructions are clear and easy to use. Nice and compact so will fit into any space. Packaging and delivery were excellent. I would definitely recommend this product.

I like it. Sound is good, 'dim' facility is good and you can't help but be able to read the time - great big digits. I've deducted a star because it is not the most intuitive to set-up or even use in day-to-day use - my wife still can't set the alarm by herself. However, I can - knowledge is power! Seriously though, go with the settings downside and it's a perfectly good radio alarm.

Would prefer the cable to be a bit longer for my purposes, but other than that it works great. Very easy to use and set, didn't even need the instruction manual to work it out.Display is very clear and readable.Would prefer a big alarm off button too, rather than big snooze button as snoozing on any alarm clock is missing the point! :-)

Given this little radio alarm clock is only 20 quid....its fantastic. Do not understand comments regarding how difficult it is to set up! I am hopeless generally at setting up things and I found the instructions easy peezy...this is really easy to set up....infact i would even go as far as to say very basic set up. Sound quality is OK, again look at the price folks! Recommend highly.

Noisiest clock I've ever seen/used, and I'm not referring to the buzzer. The transformer must be some late 1950's knock-off, not heard anything hum like that for a long time. As it sits on bedside table that just amplifies the noise. Now sitting on an inch thick piece of foam!The UI is a typically overly complicated far Eastern nonsense, but once set is OK.
