MacGyver (Richard Dean Anderson) is a modern-day "knight-errant," a person people turn to in a crisis. He has a penchant for arriving on the scene in the eleventh hour, when the clock is ticking ominously and innocent lives often are at stake. MacGyver is a packrat, collecting ordinary items of seemingly little value and stashing them in his knapsack "for a rainy day." And it is these same items that he uses to improvise his way out of trouble. MacGyver's ingenius solutions to seemingly insurmountable problems may seem like "gee-whiz" science fiction but they are not - it's all based on scientific fact. We need more TV heroes like MacGyver today. He is entertaining, but always upholds a decent set of morals. I'm glad the later seasons got away from the "James Bond Playboy" attitude that was prevalent in Season 1. Season 4 tackled some of the big issues of the day for the late 1980's. Mac was just good clean entertainment and he always made you think! I actually think it was MacGyver that inspired me to study Chemistry in college- he always knew everything about anything! The DVD's were good quality and reasonably priced. I liked the fact that there were not to many extras added keeping the price down. Overall a great buy! I plan on purchasing the rest of the series! MacGyver is the best!!!

Awesome classic series
The original Macgyver The classic it’s a great series Full of excitement and adrenaline and you fall in love with the characters. And may learn a thing or two if you’re caught in a pinch all you have is a roll of duct tape a pocket knife and a piece of string.

MacGyver is Awesome!
Slowly, but surely, we will have all 7 seasons of the MacGyver series! My sons and I truly enjoy watching MacGyver, well, "MacGyver It!" It is somewhat educational in that my boys question whether or not 'it can be done'; then they study/research the topic until they're satisfied. The T.V. show Mythbusters has made it even more fun during episodes proving/disproving MacGyver actions. We are super Richard Dean Anderson fans as well.

2 of 2 required to fnish out my complete 7 year set
When purchasing a series of TV shows it is important to have all the years that it was in production. This year was the exact middle of this show's 7 year production, and therefore a necessity to own if I wanted the entire production. I like the continuity of this series stories, and their interaction within it's 7 year run. I would recommend this product to any serious MacGyver fan, or anyone that appreciates watching mysteries and how the "hero" reasons out the solution to different complex problems.

really who don't remember watching MacGyver on TV growing up I did and I loved the show so much had to get it on dvd just like the show high quality. great picture and sound if your a fan you should get these sets

A great Series
I am a RDA fan. Seeing his original series "MacGyver" is both reminiscent and exciting and the stories still have and hold my interest. His heroic personality coupled with his integrity makes the series great and I applaud it.

Je ne voulais pas la regarder au début, j'aimais beaucoup l'ancienne et puis un soir où il n'y avait rien, j'ai regardé et j'ai adoré le duo Mac et Jack, j'ai aimé toutes les saisons et trouve dommage qu'il n'y ait pas eu de saison 6 mais il y a quand même une fin alors c'est cool .
