I have had great results with Brother products so I paid the higher price for my replacement toner. Be sure to read the instructions!! I saw a number of negative reviews where people struggled with the install but had not read the instructions. Yet they blamed the product, wow.

Always reliable
I prefer these over cheaper generic versions because they're always good quality. I've tried generic cartridges for a variety of printers over the past 30 years; some were okay, others definitely not. No longer worth the gamble, so I'm willing to pay more for the reliability.

Original Equipment Works Best
First bought the bargain brand. Found that black reproduced as many shades of gray.Bought original equipment this time. Color reproduction was true black. Well worth the extra money to get true black.
