This has been really slick. I have a server hanging vertically in my closet so I used this for a slim ODD mount and the hdd bays are really nice too. I tried another swappable solution in my other slot but the trays flop around too much and these are great. You got to be a little careful your screws aren't too long so they don't interfere with the drive trays but that's gonna be a problem with anything 2 drives wide.

Install was smooth and easy. Everything fits perfectly and they've been working fine for over two months so far. I like that I can turn the drives off when they aren't being used and turn them on when I need them. Being able to swap drive trays is nice too. Worth it if that's what you're looking for.

I love the fact that I can use a BD Burner and 2 SSD's in place of 1 DVD burner. Extra storage is always a bonus for most PC cases if you have at least 1 or 2 5.25 drive bays in an older case so upgrades like this are helpful.

The product is generally well designed with quite good build quality. I really like being able to use my old laptop DVD drive and get rid of the full-size one. The ODD installation was easy with all the screw holes lining up perfectly. There's no on-board power or SATA connector for the ODD but these are completely unnecessary anyway. A simple power/SATA cable from the rear of the ODD is all that's needed. I especially like the front mounted individual power switches for the SSD/HDDs which allow hot swapping. However, there are a few things with the product that could be improved:- - the SSD/HDD trays are flimsy plastic and do not have a good quality feel to them. They work fine but will not withstand any rough handling. It would be nice if they could have been better build quality with an alloy tray and front latch. I'd have been willing to pay more for this. - It would have been nice to have dispensed with the need for anchoring the SSD/HDD to the tray with screws as with the MB732SPO-B "Comparable to tray-less design" where the drives just snap in. In fact, I can't see why the SSD/HDD slots can't be tray-less altogether. - if the front two screws used to mount the cage into the PC are used, they must be no longer than 1 - 1.5mm or they foul the plastic drive trays. I found this out the hard when I used a longer screw with the drive tray in place which gouged a notch in the edge of the tray. This could easily have been avoided in he design. The rear two screws have plenty of clearance. Overall, I recommend the product as a great way to save space.

As per another customer the front case mounting screws protrude into the tray area which can cause the tray to catch, shorter screws solved this. And be aware of the front On--Off switch. The On label is to the right of the switch which is the off position, it was not until I stepped back and saw the whole label On----Off, On to the left, Off to the right once I noticed my dum mistake everything works fine.

It installs easy does exactly what it is supposed to I need another but the supplier was out of them, will be watching for more of them. IcyDock makes good products.

I was disappointed to discover that the SSDs have to be place in a tray. I expected just to open the door and push the SSD in. The tray is a nuisance. The plastic filler plate for the ODD has the 'Disc' logo on it but it, of course, isn't a drive. Someone must think that a fake logo is better than a real drive? The filler plate snaps into place but isn't really secure.

Der Rahmen ist leicht einzubauen und funktioniert sehr gut. Da es immer weniger konventionelle Laufwerke für Scheiben gibt und man mehr und mehr auf Festplatten lagert ist dies bei meinem Speicherbedarf eine Top löshng zum schnellen archivieren von Daten und wechseln der Platten.

下段の2.5インチドライブが2台分横並びのせいで付属ねじ以外のねじで本体をケースに取り付けることが出来ません。（ケース付属のねじだと2.5インチドライブが挿抜できません。） このためねじ止め方式をを採用していないケースには取り付けは不能です。

This item works perfectly for the mid tower ATX case I bought. It allows you to add 2 more SSD SATA III and a DVD Player. The only thing though is that it is quite pricey. Overall I'm happy that it works.
