Jebao Aquarium Wavemaker (SOW-4)

I am very proud of this upgrade from a simple power head. The controller is outstanding with unlimited wave forms. The wave maker is compact, quiet, and powerful.

Whoa, the SOW-15's are really powerful. I went with these given I have 3/4" glass on my 350g marine fish only aquarium. The magnets are powerful enough for this thickness glass. With 1 of these on either end of a 8 ft long tank, I'm still putting the speed at the 2nd lowest position. If I had a coral tank then maybe I'd be a few settings higher, but at this setting there is ample water movement and I can see fish deflected swimming 2-3 ft away from the jet. Also, at setting 3 and above these were pulling sand from 14" away at the bottom via a sand tornado! My only minor complaint is I now have wires going into my tank which I've always tried to avoid. If I had money to burn then I'd avoid this with the much more expensive VorTech's, which I have on my other reef tank, but given the price savings here, well worth the purchase.

Easy to set up two units. The directions to are no frills but it had the information I was looking for. Very quiet in operation even at full speed. Magnet was very strong but not too much. I have the two facing at opposite ends of the tank and running in sine mode. Flow is excellent!

So far I'm pleased with it, has plenty of flow in my 28 gallon saltwater cube tank. The adjustments don't seem to make much difference with the flow unless I'm just not understanding it, I'm deducting a point because of the poor translation into English. I'm a very experienced fishkeeper so I can pretty much figure it out but I'm not 100% sure of the functionality of it even still. I've used the larger versions of this in client tanks that I maintain, so I wanted to give this a shot. I'd say it's ideal for 20-40 Gallon tanks in my opinion. It's plenty powerful I have it on the lowest setting in mine and it's moving quite a bit of water. It might struggle volume-wize in anything bigger than a 40 because it's so tiny.

I had been using an SOW-8 for quite a while, but found myself having to often readjust it to change the flow because it was so hard on the corals. I knew there was a lower volume model (this SOW-4) and gave it a try. This is in a 54 gallon tank and gives just the right flow, at the second to lowest rate. Very happy with it. Quiet and the magnetic mount is strong. I think the corals appreciate it too as I see more tentacles coming out than I did before.

I've had two of these in a 75 gallon reef tank for about 8 months without and issue. Easy to clean and controls are straight forward.

These are strong and make ZERO sound.Efficiency, strong water moviement, and able to be programmed! What more do you need? These are it!
