Easy to get your new salt water system set up!
Instructions are easy to follow, set up was straightforward and the guidance given in the instructions were helpful in setting up our salt water system (this was our first time with salt water and coming from a chlorine system, we were nervous). I appreciated the easy set up, but would have appreciated another connector for my input hose (there is a hose connector for the output, but not another one for the input from the pool). We needed to order the additional connector and delayed out initial set up by a few days. When it is HOT, and you want to swim, a few days is a LONG time. :)

Easy install, Effective, Easy maintenance
We had an older salt water system and the maintenance was tedious and on going. This system installed easily and works wonderfully. It has a boost mode to basically shock your pool plus an automatic self cleaning system. It programs very simply to adjust for pool size and temperature averages. It cleared out slightly cloudy water to crystal clear over night. Worth every penny.

Fed up!!!!!!
Have had a salt water pool for 2yrs used older SWG sytems with no issues, this year i filled the pool the rest of the way up, ofcourse started out with green algae water from the winter, added my salt into pool, ran the filter for 48 hrs as i do this every year, after 2day salt level tested between 2000 & 3000 ppm, programmed it to boost mode as i have with the others & it turned on then immediately went to high salt code, re tested level still same so drained 10% water, re filled the pool not adding anymore salt, it ran for 24hrs on boost straight at around 1000ppm 2 days later water still green by now its usually clearing up, so shut it off, added another bag of salt ran filter for 24hrs turned SWG back on to boost & immediately went to high salt code & salt level only at 1200ppm have went through this same process 3 times now, I kno i would have better results if i had the right amount of salt as the manual suggests, however by doing that the SWG dont seem to want to run on boost or normal mode, not sure whats goin on with this system?? Any help would be great, about to contact intex but from previous forums people have had no luck with the company. Im thinking i might go back to the older models at least they worked fine. Oh & i have soaked the electrodes in vinegar as suggested also.I didnt even want to give 1 star since this thing wasnt actually working properly & showing results aftr 2weeks of messing with it, otherwise i rate it no stars!
