Age appropriate gift for the little crafter
8 year old daughter received this as a gift, age appropriate and giftable. Easy enough for her to complete on her own. Good quality materials.

Nice kit
We really like craft kits. I would much prefer them doing something than watching something. It is nice because they can spend the time doing it and then they have something special to keep. They are excited when they make something themselves. This is a great activity for a rainy day or a day when your child is sick or when you are just stuck at home. It is a good way to keep a child busy.I thought it was age appropriate. It wasn’t too hard. The children really liked how it turned out.I feel like this is good for child development. It kept my children's interest. It would also make a nice gift.I would recommend it.

Fun craft set
My daughter loves all things arts and craft and loves making these ready made kits. This one was especially fun for her because it made something that she can actually hang up and use. I wish I was creative enough to think of these things without a kit, but I am not so I am thankful they make kits like these so my daughters can be crafty.

OK Art Kit
With this kit, your child will make a rather flimsy little cardboard branch that is ostensibly meant to hold jewelry. The instructions are well-written, and the project is not terribly difficult to do. Your kids will likely not need much help from Mom and Dad outside of a little quality control - this one's a little easy to mess up if you aren't winding it tightly.I think the final product is pretty weak. It's clearly made of cardboard, and that's evident from the moment you attempt to touch or use it. It's an awkward thing to mount or use, and even my girls don't really want to use it. Fun to make for an hour or two though.

Cute craft idea
This jewelry branch is for kids 7 and up. It comes with all the parts you need to make the hanging branch with a cute bird on it. You can then use extra yarn to wrap the enclosed wire to make hooks for your jewelry. This is a really cute set and I think the girl will be excited to make this.

Pay attention to the age recommendation.
I like that this craft kit is more time-intensive than most. My granddaughter, a veteran of many, many craft kits, is almost 7 and she needed a lot of supervision and some help—especially in preparing the branch which (I would have thought) came ready-to-use. Once you have the branch ready (it’s made of cardboard) it’s a question of eye-hand coordination and patience. The yarn has to be wrapped tightly, each wrap touching the previous one. If she rushes and leaves gaps, things start looking sloppy. It’s important to wind with precision. This is where maturity comes in. I knew what the recommended age was but assumed that, since she’s worked on so many projects, her manual dexterity and experience would make up for the lack of maturity and attention span. It doesn’t. Actually, I think that the age should be 8 and up.Still, I sat with her, did some (maybe 50% actually) of the work and used it as together time. We ended up with a project in which is every bit as cute and colorful as the one pictured on the box. All the material is provided and, while labor intensive, it is not a messy project. Another good thing is that you don’t have to finish it all in one sitting.

Cute crafting kit makes a jewelry holder
Craft-tastic is part of the Ann Williams group of crafting products. They are known for the easy to make craft kits. This Jewelry Branch kit is fun for children to make their very own jewelry holder. It includes all you need to make a branch that holds necklaces and bracelets, etc... The kit uses a cardboard stick to form the jewelry holder, but you can also use your own stick, if you have one. It’s fun to actually select a good stick from nature as part of the project. Just make sure it is similar in size to the cardboard one in the box so you have plenty of supplies. The craft comes with very easy to use instructions. We have a 9-year-old who love crafting. This project was great fun for her.

A little hard to make
My 4 and 11 year old worked on this together, and it was a little hard and frustrating for them. They eventually got it, and finished it, but I don't think this is something they would recommend as fun. The string was the fun part, but putting the cardboard branch together proved to be challenging. I think a premade cardboard would have better, but it looks like the picture. You can do different colors too. Overall it was a fun craft.
