Funny Furry Tales A-D Kindergarten Reader Box Set: Scholastic Early Learners (Guided Reader)

I ordered these for my six year old son to build some confidence in reading. These books are great. They are perfect for Kindergarten and First grade. My son loved the books in this set. They are bigger than the little readers. I like the review at the back of these books. My son liked the different characters. They held his interest. My son was behind on reading and went from a level C to E in 6 weeks.

Nice leveled readers. I received two books "When Dinosaurs Ruled" and was missing the book "Mermaid School." Returning and reordering.Update: Received the right books when I reordered.

Hands down best early readers. They are colorful, funny, and filled with sight words. These books gave my kindergartener the confidence to independently read.

Perfect for F&P leveling. 4 of each level.

Amazing books for beginning readers. I'm a mom and first grade teacher. Just bought 6 sets for my classroom, too!

I like the illustrations in the books. And I like that they have sight words in them using repetition to get students to practice their sight words. The book is not really designed for decoding as much because yes the sight words are fairly easy for the students to read but the other words in the book are not so easy to read and so you might have to help your child read these books. Like they are learning the word has which is pretty easy and then the next word is scales which is not easy.

Super cute books. I like the “comprehension” questions in the back of the book.

Great books for beginning reader, nice to have different levels in one purchase, fun to read

These books have great pictures. One can have conversations with kids around these pictures. The box is helpful is storing the books. A little pricey . I would appreciate if it was around 500. Otherwise good.

Love this set! Great beginners tool for kids learning to read. Simple sentences, great tips for parents at the end of each book. Within a day our daughter was already beginning to read independently.
