This special edition features a black background on the cards.

Would have loved it if they had been printed on special paper ...
These are well made cards - small but just what I needed! And they are the only deck that uses a black background. Would have loved it if they had been printed on special paper to make the images stand out more definitively.

The cards look much bigger in the photos than they do in real life. These cards are baby cards for babies and not for adults. Why I am paying all of this money for cards that are not even the size of playing cards??? These cards should at least flash and they don't.

Price doesn't match quality
I have no idea why they are charging so much for this tiny little deck of cards. I've paid less for high quality tarot and oracle cards - prices that seemed appropriate. But $30 for these cards is a bit preposterous. Unless they are extremely rare editions and there are no more being printed. I'm just glad I got some, if that is indeed the case.

Better off printing your own
There's several places online that have PDF versions of these that you can print on your own cardstock. Much cheaper and better than this.
