I've used Delavan nozzles for many years and have never had a problem They just work. Be sure to order an exact replacement for your unit. There are many sizes and spray patterns.

One Dud in the Set I Ordered, but That May Just Be Random
One of the nozzles I ordered was a dud - just did not spray right. [I'm not just a home owner, but a certified oil burner technician from years gone by, so I well know how and how not to handle nozzles.] I inspected the nozzle after I removed it and could not see anything obvious - imperfect hole, something near the hole pulling the spray, etc. - so I assume this is some random manufacturing defect. I did speak with a few folks who service burners after I hit this dud and they did say from time-to-time they hit duds, across brands, gph's, etc.. I've always used Delavan - 30+ years - and had good luck except one of the ones I ordered in this set.I don't have time to go through others' reviews, but if you're reading this, maybe see if anyone else comments about something like this. If not, consider it a random defect that should not affect your purchasing decision.
