Realmslayer: Warhammer Age of Sigmar

For fans of Gotrek and/or Brian Blessed
Very enjoyable listen. To be honest I don't like Age of Sigmar, I bought this because I was a fan of the Gotrek and Felix series, and seeing Gotrek's annoyance at the new world almost cartharic. Gotrek remains the same as he always is, of course hearing him voiced by Brian blessed is awesome. Does this adiuo play make me want to know more about Age of Sigmar? NO, would I happilly see more Gotrek stories. So overall, recomend to fans of Gotrek and Felix, or fans of Brian Blessed.

GOTREK IS ALIVE!
Now I know many of you beardlings are grumbling in your beards and moan how about things were better in the Old World! Now I agree with you, my fellow dawi! HOWEVER after having listened to this audio drama I can only say one thing....Gotrek Gurnison is not only alive, he THRIVES.Brian Blessed, and the other voice actors, did a fantastic job with their characters. The music and sound effects really do help tell the story. The story itself is a perfect tale for those who want to see what this Age of Sigmar business is all about. Gotrek is our perfect POV character seeing all this madness. Like us he does to grumble that the old world was better and wonders why he is there. But the story does expand from there and gives Gotrek a really good reason to be there.I highly recommend this series, worth a buy or a listen via Audible.Come on you Wuzzuks! Kazukhan Kazakit-ha!

Superbly voiced, interesting plot. Might get me into Age of Sigmar yet.
Brian Blessed was never quite how I imagined Gotrek, but he gave a phenomenal performance. The supporting were equally superb each in their own right and I found myself able to visualize the scenes well. In a weird twist, it was Trollslayer - the original Gotrek and Felix book - that got me into Warhammer. And now it seems it may be Gotrek who finally gets me into Age of Sigmar, something I've long maligned... Funny how the world works, eh?

Simply fantastic
This is one of the greatest audio dramas I have ever listened to. The rich tapestry that David Guymer weaves throughout the story is both hilarious and engaging. As a long time fan of all the Gotrek books I was very keen to see how this fearless dwarf would fair in the Mortal Realms of the Age of Sigmar and was not disappointed at all. This is a must listen for any fans of Warhammer (old world and AoS) and any fantasy fan for that matter.

Excellent
This has been the best audio I've had the pleasure to listen to. I strongly recommend listening to this for the excellent Brian Blessed who perfectly catches Gotrek Gurrnisson.

Hotels alive, but missing something
It is good to have another gotrek book I suppose, but everything seems to move along to quickly. It also reminds me of the move from William king to Nathan long. Hopefully will find its feet in the next (audio)book in the series

Worth listening to, just for Blessed alone.
Fantastic, Brian Blessed brings a truly bombastic vigor to a beloved character that has been thrown into a strange and brave new world.
