Exactly what I needed to refill my $100 Cross pen. This is a great value and is very affordable. A nice quality pen should not be disposable and these refill cartridges ensure I can continue to enjoy my Cross pen for many more years! no flow
after a few days of using, the ink flow wont come out..I will give up buying any of this 8523 refill. I have been buying 3 times from Amazon with same issue.. dare not to try again...The 1st one I got from Asia does not have such issue.. not sure why???

Great refill - writes smoothly!
This is the proper refill for my wonderful heavy Cross pen that Cross no longer produces (which is awful because it is heavy and is the only pen, I can use to write so anyone can read because I have essential tremor), but back to the refill. The ink flows freely with no blots, the ink flows at a consistent rate from the minute the point touches the paper, it dries quickly. The only time it starts to skip is right when it runs out and I have always thought that was a big help and great way to let you know time for a new refill. One word of caution. It will not write on photographs that are glossy or glossy paper. The slick paper (like wax paper) does not allow for the ball to gain traction.
