At only 32 pounds (including the battery) it is easy to carry and simple to transom mount, making it an ideal choice for dinghies, tenders, & RIBS. Easily propels boats up to 1.5 tons. On-board computer with GPS calculation provides runtime remaining and range. On a full charge: can run up to 17 hours at 1.25 mph, Half Throttle - 6 hours at 2 mph, Full Throttle - 55 min at 3 mph. Easily dismantled with replaceable battery for simple charging and storage. Adjustable 4 manual trim positions and full tilt capabilities. Can be stowed in any orientation and never needs an oil change. Solar charging capable, even while in use, with separate solar charging panel (Part Number 1132-00). Includes 915 Wh battery, additional high capacity battery sold separately: 915Wh Part Number 1148-00. Throttle and shift built into the tiller. Not for use in salt water
The torqeedo 1003 failed after 4 years (used seasonally for 3 seasons). No external damage. Just internal corrosion. $800 repair. Torqeedo does not stand behind their product. Not for use in salt water
