Not everything works the same for everyone but this is perfect for me…so far haha
(Okay so the video has been stuck on 5mins left for awhile now so I’ll try to add it later on) So I saw quite a few bad reviews but with Amazon and just in general any products they have bad reviews or good reviews I take them with a grain of salt Because where one product works for you it may not for others simply because everyone is different so I wanted to give my honest review of it so far. When I was looking around at the other bench sets like this I honestly didn’t like them and what they offered this one caught my eye and I looked at the reviews and I looked at it in the pictures and videos that people posted. Like I said I took them all with a grain of salt but I am around 180 pounds and about 5ft8in so I felt as if this would be a good thing to try out and see if it works for me. In the pictures I have the one on the right is at the highest setting and the one on the left is the lowest. Which the highest setting reaches above my ears so nearly as tall as me(5ft8in). So far so good.I have not received my bar so I haven’t been able to test out the bench presses but for the leg lifts and what they call preacher curls I have been able to work out with ease in the comfort of my own home. The padding for the preacher curls and the leg lifts are extremely comfortable in my opinion but because of the construction of that section I could easily see it would be not that hard to upgrade if those are a problem for you or me in the future. The padding that you rest your arms on when doing the preacher curls is also very comfortable and is adjustable just like pretty much everything else on this set.The back rest does not go fully straight up and down but it does go completely flat so it does not have a decline but it does have an incline. I have not been able to test out the set with bench presses Because I have not received my bar yet which will most likely be here tomorrow. And after some good use out of it I will update my review.Just as I said nothing works the same for everyone so I will mention that the seat base is not the biggest but for me it is perfect. My tailbone is parallel with the back of the seat base so when I do leg lifts and lean back on the back rest it is very comfortable for me.Since I’m learning I have been watching videos on how to properly bench press with a bar I had to try out the position while laying flat on the bench and my feet just barely plant firmly on the ground. Now when I say this I like to mention that I have not worked out in a while so if I stretched pre-workout I’m pretty sure I’d be able to comfortably reach the ground but just in case I have extra puzzle pieces of the floormat to add some extra height to make it more comfortable and safe.Overall this is a purchase I do not regret (so far) and I hope I can get many years of use out of this. Since I’ve been using the curls and leg lifts I have already been feeling and seeing “gains”.I get free returns on Amazon so to me it did not hurt to try it out and see if it works for me and so far it does indeed.Side note: I also got my weights, gloves, clips and flooring on Amazon. The weights I got from “Hulkfit”, the gloves I got from “Simari fitness gear”, the clips I got from “Day 1 fitness” and the flooring I got from “ProsourceFit”. (Also got the bar which is supposed to here tmr which is from “Sporzon!”)

A great bench that's worth the price, but with some minor flaws.
A fantastic bench, that is worth the price, but with some minor flaws.I received this bench about two weeks ago. I assembled the majority of it the night I got it and finished it the next night. All together, it took less than two hours to assemble. I was curious about several things that I didn't see answered anywhere, so I'll go ahead and answer a few questions I had. First, the bench can withstand 600 total pounds (user's weight + lifting weight). You will need a few tools (I believe I used a socket wrench and a 10 mm socket, but don't quote me on that), but everything else is provided. There are numerous reasons why I gave 5 stars for this bench.1. The bench feels very, very stable when I'm lifting. I have the bowflex adjustable dumbbells (5-90 lbs) and routinely use 90lbs/dumbbell. When doing this, I haven't even felt the bench move. I also have a Cap bench that feels quite unstable when lifting this much weight (one of the reasons for this purchase). Granted, the other bench was cheaper, but this bench feels solid.2. There are multiple positions available to do numerous lifts. You can do decline, flat and incline chest presses and you can move the bench part to 3 different locations to ensure your lifting from a comfortable location. I haven't tried the shoulder press yet, so I don't know if the positioning is awkward, but it looks normal to me (I know, really helpful stuff there). The preacher curl can easily be removed or change the position of it, so it's not in your way during other lifts.3. There are two different locations to put the squat rack attachments in, ultimately allowing more flexibility. I'm able to use either one. However, if you're under 5'-5" or so (my guess), it may be difficult to squat using this.4. The leg attachment can be locked in the down position, which is nice when doing other lifts. That way, it isn't swinging around when you don't want it to be.5. The seat is nice and big (both wide and long). Again, my Cap bench has a miniscule seat and makes it a little awkward when doing one handed presses.6. The preacher curl attachment is easily removable/addable as necessary.7. There is TONS of room to use dumbbells with this, in addition to barbells. There are a lot of benches where it can become cramped when using dumbbells. I found this to be kind of annoying, even at gyms with commercial grade equipment. Now, I do have to move the barbell attachments (easily done). However, there is plenty of room for me to use my dumbbells when I feel like it.I have found some minor flaws. Some affect me and others have not.1. The bench takes up a LOT of room. If you account for the room needed for squatting, a 7' bar and the rotation of the leg curls/extensions, this bench has a pretty massive footprint. I have an unfinished basement, so it's not terrible for me. But, it probably needs something close to a 8' x 12' space.2. The seat seems to wiggle a little much. I haven't noticed it AT ALL while I'm lifting. However, I moved the bench the other day and it didn't seem as secure as I was expecting. As I just said, this doesn't seem to be a big deal and I'm sure it's fine, since I haven't felt it at all while I'm lifting, just an observation.3. The preacher curl bar is kind of close to the leg curl bars. I actually hit the leg curl bar a few times with dumbbells while doing preacher curls. However, I have now raised the preacher curl attachment up to where the pin is holding the entire thing up (rather than being in one of the holes, I fully inserted the pin and then put the preacher curl attachment in, ergo the pin is holding up the attachment). Now it's a little high and I have to stand to do preacher curls. Not a big deal in my book and shouldn't be a big deal to anyone who has a curl bar. I personally found the preacher curl bar provided to be crap, but others may want to use it.4. Using heavy dumbbells can make for some awkwardness with this bench. There's a lot going on and the seat is nice and big. All in all, that's a pro. However, when trying to kick your legs over the seat, with dumbbells in your hand, it can become a little awkward.I haven't used the leg extension part yet, but my wife seems to like it a lot.
