These Baseplates are great! They are the thick type with connections on top and bottom of plate like the ones that come in many of the Lego kits. I use them to place the built Lego kits on so we can carry them around. I've had no problem connecting houses, trees or any other sized setup on these plates so they stay put. We also build right on them. Great price, too. I bought more after receiving the first ones and founding out how good they were.The company, Ubiquitty, through Amazon shipped my orders very quickly. No problems. I'm sure I will buy from them again.

They have no issues with other building block toys.Amusing shipping detail: the plates come pressed together in one thick slab. Nice and compact for shipping... but man, getting the first two plates off is a challenge. You feel like you are going to crack the plates trying to peel them off because the slab is very stiff. Once you have half the stack separated, they can flex easier and come apart without issues. The first one off... that's a real fingernail ripper.Update 2016/04/06:These work great with regular LEGOS. Regarding DUPLO or other "large brick" sets: they work fine for the pieces with square corners. However, the pieces with rounded edges will not connect to the base. See attached image. This isn't a flaw in the baseplate, but an inherent limitation of the design. The close spacing of the posts interfere with the curved edges of the DUPLO blocks. Again, not a flaw with these or any other "LEGO-like" baseplates. Those curved blocks just don't work on the smaller pegs.

We all know the foundation to any structure must be strong and stable in order to support it. The Play Platoon Baseplates provide both strength and stability at an incredibly reasonable price. We have 6 children- ranging 8-30. Legos building bricks have been in our home for a while. Unfortunately many have come and gone over the years, I believe they are held in another dimension along with the missing socks from our dryer. Legos building bricks have changed over the last 30 years and with that the price has as well. Our youngest little architect loves Legos and has been asking for them for a while. Our neighbors son outgrew playing with his and blessed my son with a bag full. Our neighbor's son said they aren't Legos brand but they work with Legos and our just as good. That led me to search on Amazon for Baseplates and I came across Play Platoon Baseplate. I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality and the bonus is that its an AWESOME VALUE! I plan on buying more, I am going to adhere them onto of a table so he and his friends can construct away for hours. Getting the building bricks off the floor and out of the carpet may help with vacuuming...lol...I will be recommending this product to other parents foresure !

Bricks work fine for small legos, which is what grandson uses. We tried bigger duplo legos on the bricks as well. They will snap on but fit so tight they are difficult to use. Best to stick with small lego pieces for these bricks. Grandson likes that the bricks come in different colors & arranges them to go with whatever he's building. Bricks are not a perfect fit for our play table, but we knew that before ordering. Check dimensions to make sure they will fit whatever surface you plan to use. Overall the product works fine.

I used these as baseplates when building my son a lego table.Compared to official baseplates, these are thicker and far less flexible. They are generally straight and work as expected. They work with Legos and Duplos. That said, the plates aren't 100% "true". For example, when my son built a Duplo building across the whole thing, we couldn't keep the pieces lined up enough to make them stable. It appears to be less of a problem with normal Lego pieces.The colors are great. There is the occasional "dot" with an injection mark, but otherwise they look nice enough. As a bonus, the plates have receivers on the bottom, so they can be stacked or built on. Honestly, I can't think of a lot of cases where you'd need that, but it doesn't hurt anything.

Love these plates. They are 10x10 inches or 32x32 studs and they line up perfectly with all my lego plates and studs. I love that theses plates are twice as thick as the new plates from lego. They are all able to be stacked on the bottom as well as the top as they have reverse studs on the bottom. The blue color is exactly the color i needed and i will be buying more plates in other colors from them  Building Bricks - 10" x 10" Blue Baseplate (4 Pack) Compatible with All Major Brands

These are much sturdier than the lego brand baseplates AND much less expensive. They're great for building little sets on and moving them from place to place without the plate bending and little Legos crashing everywhere. They were tough to pull apart but other than that, a great purchase. One tip: build onto the baseplate vs trying to transfer your creation to the baseplate...They are a nice, snug fit with Legos.

I am giving this three stars for two reasons, one of which is my fault. I know the measurement is written right there in the description, but it just seemed like they would be bigger from the pictures I saw in other reviews. They are very small, but can be combined with attached Legos to form a larger base. They worked alright (not always a tight fit) with regular Lego-brand Legos (the small pieces) and did stack vertically that way. But the Duplos did not sit flat on the table and you could not stack vertically using Duplos in between (the holes underneath the brick plates are too small). Overall, they seem sturdy and were a good price. But I will have to find something else for my classroom Duplo sets. Hope this helps others!
