I've been trying to repair a cart that attaches to the bike for my dog to ride in, and having already gone through two inner tubes that developed holes immediately, i was nervous to try again ,thinking there was something damagng inside the wheel of the cart. but after checking this tube first by pumping it up outside the wheel to make sure it was good, having placed it into the wheel, its working , am delighted now the dog can travel in luxury again, far more comfy than balancing in the wicker basket on the handlebars , as she is quite hefty now , 11 kgs , so hoping this stays good, even though the tyre is bulgin out at one point, this is nothing to do with the quality of the tube , which is grand.now to see can i return the impac one i got, which seems to have been damaged before i got it.

Does what it's meant to

Given the time it takes to replace a defective inner tube it make sense to buy quality which is exactly what these Schwalbe's are. The giveaway is the manner in which the valve stem is welded to the inner tube. In addition, the stem is made of metal and has a ring nut to prevent the stem from being pushed into the inner tube when the tube is being inflated.

Changing my bike's standard tires and inner tubes to these has been massively noticeable. Previous tires only took about 55psi and would need pumping up about once every week or two. These easily retain up to 90-100psi with a Schwalbe tire for months.

Does what it says on the box; polished plated valve stem, ditto securing ring, clear valve cap. You get what you pay for; unlike makers of cheap tubes, Schwalbe have a reputation to protect.

I had my local Bike Shop fit these to my new bikes4u.com Monaco Explorer Folding Bike. A 100 yards is not really a test of puncture resistance, so I will edit this review after cycling a few more miles.
