Repair Aluminum Damage
My kickstand broke off on my electic Ebike and I was livid!! The frame is made of aluminum which will take a aluminum welder to repair the damage so I decided to fix it myself. I thought about using fiber glass until I stumble across J-B Weld 8272 MarineWeld Marine Epoxy . This stuff hardens to the frame like a aluminum weld stitch. My kickstand now works like a new kickstand after trying other methods to repair it.

They are good epoxy for many repairs around the house or the shop. Strong and leak proof.

Perfect for a diving board repair!
The bolts in the diving board had decayed, along with the wood at the end with the bolts. I cleaned out the holes as best I could, taped over one side and filled them with epoxy, packing it in to the wood. Took a bit over a day to harden, but after drilling them out the fix works perfectly! Good stuff!
