Worked great for our first trip. But on the second trip three months later, the motor was dead. I checked the system and had power all the way up to the motor than nothing. Not what I expected from a LCS part for over $300 None to the wise. You better have the extended warranty

You have to support the awning roller after disconnecting the old motor. It’s almost 10’ in the air, so you need a very tall step ladder or a long board Another person on a ladder could hold it up, but it takes at least 10-15 minutes to put in the new motor, so they would be stressing. Once you get in in place, the small set screw is also tricky to get in the right spot. The good news is the new motor is quieter and faster than the old one.

The old BIG screw is worn-looking and a little corroded. The little screw that holds the shaft to the awning is a bit rusty and worn. It would have been nice to have these replaced as-well. Especially at this price-point.

The original awning motor on my travel trailer broke. The motor still worked, but the metal that mounted the motor to the awning arm broke. Since the mount was not available as a separate part, I purchased this motor assembly. It was an exact fit replacement the only difference being the connector. It was a simple matter to cut the old connector off the wire on the trailer and crimp new solderless connectors on which plugged into the new motor connector.

Great item that fit and worked well

This replacement unit is built much better/stronger than the one it replaced. New one has all-metal gears and no plastic parts except for the covers. The wiring connectors were a perfect match for what I had on the RV, so not reworking of the wiring was required.

Install myself and very easy to do, works really well.

Fit and works perfectly. I did not give 5 stars because the plastic was cracked when it arrived. There was a hole in the box where the metal end looked like it poked through. The box was probably too big and the part being unsecured was able to get damaged. I needed it right away to install and simply reused the plastic on the part that I was replacing. Other than that, no issues.

Product came broken.
