Chest Box, 13.1 cu. ft., Hinged, 62 in W

Nice solid box and definitely weather proof!!! Great design....I did have to Fab up a pin to hold the top tray from sliding back and fourth. Now it’s perfect no complaints at all!

Received my flush mount box and was excited to get it installed and working as I am using it to house my tools, along with a custom pneumatic setup. Had it in the truck for about 2 months before the latch rod came disengaged from the latch to release the lid. Called weather guard and they informed me they would help me, but would not warranty any parts as Amazon is not an authorized dealer. I thought great, no big deal... I got a great deal on the box and I'll pay for the parts. Well, I had to sawzall my way through the striker latch, which is a 40 dollar part ... the the piece that broke is part of an $80 set for the "latch rod kit" ... all that said, I'm about 120 bucks, plus my "great deal" from amazon... and I still don't have a box that I'm confident in.

This is my second Weather Guard tool box and I'm very impressed with the quality and easy installation. Fits my 2020 F450 leaving about 1" on each side of the bed liner topside and about 3-4 inches open beside the box beneath the topside lip of the bed liner; thought this would bother me but the space allows you to keep using the tie down points on the bed liner. Also nice that the toolbox sits below the bed top and I can add a cover in the future with no worries - that was important to me at least. The only slight negative is the latching system needs to be handled slowly or it won't latch and if you slam it down it won't latch. Very happy with it and would recommend to anyone.

Mine just arrived this morning and I agree with the other review....twice the price, three times as good as what I saw in the box stores. Appears they pay a lot of attention to detail in the welding, design, and construction. A few comments that may or may not be negatives: For some reason I expected latch-points at each end, but this box just has one in the middle (with button lock at driver's side). And because of the weather seal, the lid can't be easily slammed shut from one end. It likes a firm push in the middle. We'll see if this changes over time. Overall, I'm really liking this box.Update: Almost 2 years old now. Still looks and works like brand new. Really very happy with this box.

Had to modify this tool box to fit 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. My truck has 12 tie down anchor points in the bed; 3 in each corner. The lowest tie down anchor on the driver side does not allow for standard installation. I had to cut a hole in the toolbox to make it fit. See photos.

Good quality but expensive.

The price for the box was twice the cost of comparable products. I will not by Weather Guard again.

Weather Guard is the best tool box on the market. I own two and am about to order this one, they are twice the price of comparable boxes but they are three times as good.
