Monstrum Rubberized Flip-Up Rifle Scope Lens Covers | Flat Dark Earth

I used the lens cap as a protective\ recalibration cover for my L3 an\pas23 thermal monocular. The original lens cap is pressure fit to the inside diameter of the bezel and held on with a short dummy cord, so it doesn't stay in very well and the cord makes it flop around in all directions and sometimes covers the lens as you're using it. This method makes it much easier to flip down and cover or recalibrate the unit and it won't get in the way. It also protects as a bumper if you run into a tree or wall (which I did going through a doorway). I highly recommend the lens cap, just make sure you get an accurate measurement of the outside diameter of whatever you're putting it on and stick to the closest size possible. My measurement was right in the middle of their sizes, so it fits snuggly and perfectly.

You will be lucky to get the right size. I am returning the 2nd wrong one now. I don’t understand 26-30 is nothing like 37-43. I think Monstrum can do a better job labeling because it’s happened before also. The product works when the rights size is received.

I love these scope covers. Unlike the hard plastic flip caps, these fit very snug and don't move or slip when using them. I usually have trouble with the hard ones slipping on the diopter end, but not with these. They also fit deep enough to keep the diopter ring from moving out of adjustment.

Originally I gave these a 5 star rating, but after 6 months, most of that just sitting in a safe. The rubber slip on section just split open on its own. I’ve never seen this happen. Cheap junk

I have several of these Monstrum scope covers and they work great - but Amazon sent the wrong size this time. Hopefully the replacement will be the size I ordered. The covers are great ! I highly recommend them.

They hold a little better because the part that goes on the scope is rubber. They do not slide on like the originals. Th we color tone is a very close match to Magpul FDE. Sold seperate for eye/optic sides and designed to fit over 3 sizes. Will I get more, as I want them, ya.
