Lives to its name. Precision control from temperature control to pour. Pretty quick to boil, too.
I’m a novice coffee brewer that’s privy to the pour over method with japanese products and upgraded from my stove kettle (a Gator). After skimming through all the reviews, I bought due to its name (they make excellent stand mixers), the lack of reviews, and it was marked down $40 on a sale here. Some thoughts after coming from a Gator Stovetop Kettle:1. It heats up quicker than the stove top kettle for me (starting around 60 degrees to a target of 200 degrees). Cranking up my stove at max heat. It feels like 10 minutes. This is much quicker and feels like 3-5. It also heats up to 200 degrees and doesn’t miss the mark compared to my stove top kettle (because I’m not close enough at the time to catch it there) and there’s a setting to keep at 200.2. The pour from this kettle is gorgeous. There’s different flow settings apparently, but the default pour feels perfect for my pour over needs. It looks and feels surprisingly gentle when you slowly tip it and is quite linear as you increase the angle. The spout of the kettle has a nice little notch at the end which I think helps it.3. It’s well engineered. Some other things I enjoy about this kettle is the small little padded footies below the kettle. With my stove top, I would set it on a cooling rack after I heat it. The footies give me confidence in setting it on the counter. The top stay on quite well. The temperature gauge is big. The build of my version of this kettle is simply solid.Highly recommended for those looking to pour coffee and good for teas, too.

Fast to heat to the temp you set
Amazing!!! I use this kettle for drip coffee and other times pouring hot water into my cup for tea. It holds enough water for about 2 1/2 coffee cups worth of tea. It's pretty quiet and heats up fast. I'd definitely buy this for someone who likes drip coffee or tea or even cuped noodles. To me it's definitely worth the money I paid.

Excellent kettle
This is a great kettle, I use it for making espresso with my Flair 58. I bought it after returning the Stagg EKG Pro Studio due to a persistent chemical smell that wouldn’t go away. In contrast, the KitchenAid has a fully stainless steel interior, so there’s zero odor. The controls are intuitive, the spout design is excellent, and the flow rate is much higher than the Stagg, making it a better fit for my espresso routine. Overall, I’m very satisfied and highly recommend it.

Best for pouring over coffee or making tea
I was debating between this and Fellow Stagg. I am glad I got this one. It’s the best design for water flow control and ideal to hand pouring coffee or tea. It’s made from best quality of stainless steel. I just love to use it every day.

Almost perfect
This was a xmas present and I love the look of it. One reason I wanted it was it holds one full liter of water unlike most other pour overs. My husband and I make a full 20 ounces of coffee for our thermos containers to last us all morning. Lo e the fact you can adjust temp to exact degrees for other beverages. Slight disappointment is no filter on spout. Our water is exceedingly hard which causes calcium buil up quickly. The other annoyance is it beeps when turning on and three beeps when done. Would prefer a light with no noise. Love it overall.

Elegant Electric Kettle
Very nice little Kettle - There are two models - this one is with a digital temperature readout on the control panel - definitely the only version i would choose. It does not heat water as fast as some of the higher wattage kettles - I also miss the pre-selected push button water temperature options for tea/coffee etc like that of the cuisenart, but cusineart doesn't have a poor over style with that feature anyhow. To be fair the Kitchen aid does allows manual adjustment of the temperature you want and will remember that setting through power cycles. The Kitchenaid is simple and elegant and works well for my needs which is poor over coffee.

Perfection
This kettle could not be more beautiful. It has a charming elegance. It’s not loud like the one that I sent back that made a roaring noise when it was boiling. This one has as a delightful Bell sound. The construction is solid and heavy. It’s perfect. I love it!

Excellent electric teapot
This electric kettle is fast at heating up water to the exact temperature you want. I use it for my pour over coffee in the morning. I love not having to heat the stove and turn on the exhaust fan above it. The kettle is quiet and efficient, and easy to use. If you have the counter space, it's worth it.
