Deserves five stars for craftsmanship, but a little stiff!
First off, the craftsmanship of this hammock is phenomenal. It is very evenly tied and has many more strands than most string hammocks. When we first tied it up, only our rope stretched and the hammock strings were strong and held their shape, which means they aren't prone to snapping. The "matrimonial" size hammock is more than wide enough to envelope an adult, but it seems like it'd be a squeeze to have two adults in it, simply because it is so well tied that it pulls taught around the heaviest part of whoever is sitting in it, so a second person would really have to cozy up, or there wouldn't be enough give for them. Think a trampoline with more than one person standing on it. Obviously this isn't bouncy, but it's the same idea. I used to have a string hammock that had fewer strings and had a little more give because of it. It wasn't as "nice" as this one, but the looser strings allowed for more comfort on the butt and back. The instructions suggest that lying at a diagonal is how most people like to use it. My husband likes this, because it is not taught anywhere on his body, but I don't like lying at an angle because the two sides of my body are supported slightly differently, one shoulder higher than the other, etc. When I lay on it straight, with my head and feet facing the ends of the hammock, it becomes taught against my butt and back, creating no give for my head (so I use a pillow), and I can rest my legs in the loose sides created by the slack on either side of where the hammock was pulled taught by my torso. Once you get the hammock, you'll know what I mean. For the price, I'd hoped for an entirely perfect hammock experience, not one which I needed to add a pillow to. But I also know this will hold up over time, is very unlikely to break, and the main portion will not easily tangle. My husband is 230 lbs and the hammock holds him fine. The hammock is also very nice looking and adds class to our backyard, instead of looking chintzy like other hammocks have. Both my husband and I have already spent hours in this, and without any kind of pillow, my husband says it puts him to sleep.

Most Comfortable Hamock I've Tried
I am a nightly hammock sleeper for 5+ years. I have tried several different hammock styles and materials. This is by far the most comfortable I found. It is longer than most conventional hammocks and may stretch a bit at first weeks usage, that length gives a very shallow curve to the hammock. The weave of the cotton strands gives it flexibility to conform to your shape (I am a side sleeper with no trouble with uncomfortable pressure areas) it is also very wide and soft. Most other hammocks cinch their material directly to the end loops making that area very stiff. The Rada long twine strands that go from the bed of the hammock to the end loops makes the ends of the bed soft and confomable.Things to think about:I'm using this as an indoor hammock, if using it outside, I'd take it down if I'm not using it (I don't know how weather-proof it is. (That's why 4 stars for durability. It'll last for a long time indoors but IDK about outside durability)My attachment points are approx. 18' apart and 7' off the floor, which gives me a perfect sitting height of 20" off the floor at the midpoint with my 175lbs. I have used this hammock with and without a ridgeline. It works both ways.I am very careful not to tange the long twine ends. I imagine it would be a nightmare to untangle. Which is the biggest reason that I would not take this hammock camping or backpacking. It looks easy to tangle.

Quality and Value
I'm not a hammock expert, but this is exactly what we were looking for--a well made hammock that wasn't hundreds of dollars, which is probably what you'd have to spend to get a spreader bar-style hammock of similar quality and comfort. My girlfriend, who has a broken foot, is sleeping peacefully in it as we speak. It cradles either of us (5'11" and 5'9") quite well, with effortless support and a cool, soft feel. The size is just right, very ample for one and somewhat cozy for two (a stretch for two lying lengthwise, but possible).Since we didn't have trees far enough apart in the backyard, we paired it with a particular cypress arc stand from another retailer that is compatible with Mayan hammocks. There aren't very many South American hammock stands online, so if you don't have the right tree setup and aren't prepared to install posts, keep that in mind. We preferred wood to metal stands, as it felt silly to pair a beautiful hammock with a pedestrian-looking stand. The hammock arrived in two days. Coupled with the free 2-3 day shipping upgrade (from Mexico) summer promotion, this is a no-brainer. All told we got a gorgeous hammock setup for around $300 shipped, and this wonderful hammock gave us room to spend more on the stand. It's going to be a lazy rest of the summer out on the patio.

Large and light
Awesome, light hammock that is highly adjustable. We have two trees fairly close together in our yard, so we just tied a knot in both ends of the hammock to shorten it up and it works perfectly. The only thing is that when you do this it doesn't expand as widely as it would at its normal length, so 2 people is a little tight. Still, very comfortable and easy to take down and take it traveling with you.I put this in the washing machine once (in a lingerie bag) and when I took it out the portion of the hammock between the loops on the end and where the seat actually begins were a bit looser. It still feels secure and works just fine, but it looks a little damaged now.

Huge, authentic hammock
Really large - two people fit very comfortably in this hammock. My husband lived in Mexico for a year and this is an authentic Mexican Hammock. Based on the weave, it should last a long while. Our last hammock (purchased in Mexico) lasted almost 9 years.

Goodbye lawn chair!
Amazing workmanship and excellent comfort. These hammocks are the real thing. You will never experience the back sweat that you get from parachute materials.
