Now I CAN keep my CAN tightly closed and its CANtents fresher, longer !!
I include B&M Brown Bread, Original Recipe and with Raisins, with my Evacuation / Survival food stores. The loaves are baked inside Tall No. 2 cans, which gives this tasty and nutritious product at least 2 years shelf life (and probably longer) and provides excellent protection. I use a "safety edge" style can opener to open the bread's can because the smooth, no-sharp-edges safety opener allows me to re-use the top end of the can I had removed to re-close the can. That works pretty well, when the end of the can is held in place with a rubber band (until the rubber band breaks, letting the end of the can to simply fall off). The can lid did an OK job, but still allowed the bread to dry out more than I wanted if I didn't finish the entire loaf of bread within two days of opening the can. I began looking for a better way to tightly close / seal the open end or ends of the bread's can that would let me eat the B&M Brown Bread over a longer number of days. A No. 2 can has a diameter of 3-7/16", so I began looking for a pair of 3-1/2" food product can covers. While searching on Amazon.com, I found the ALAZCO 12-piece, BPA-Free Can Cover set, which included two of the 3-1/2" diameter can covers. They had a good user rating, good sounding reviews, and the sub-$10 price was acceptable, so I ordered them. The ALAZCO 12-piece can cover set includes two Large can covers with a 4" diameter that fit perfectly on a large 12-ounce can of tuna (or a 12-ounce can of Red Feather Canned Creamery Butter from New Zealand that tastes so delicious on the B&M Brown Bread with Raisins -- a bit of decadence to go with your typical "open the foil pouch / add boiling water / stir and fold the bag shut for two minutes / then re-open and eat" survival meals). Also included in the 12-piece set are two Medium can covers with a 3-1/2" diameter that fit perfectly on a 19-ounce Progresso Soup can and probably an 18.6-ounce Campbell's Chunky Soup can (and on a B&M Brown Bread can, snapping snugly over the outer edge of the can and providing an excellent seal that keeps the bread moist for more than a week -- if I haven't eaten the entire can of bread long before that!). The remaining eight Small can covers in the 12-piece set have a 3" diameter and fit the majority of regular-size vegetable cans very well. Unlike many of the silicone material can covers being sold that can tear far too easily when you try to stretch them over the end of a can that's too big for it, or can slowly slide off of a can that isn't a proper fit for the cover, these ALAZCO can covers are made of a durable, transparent, BPA-Free plastic material that is similar to the lid on a tube of Pringles potato crisps. They will bend some, as you press them over the open end of a food can, but they won't stretch at all. They have a small gripping edge on the inside of the cover that snaps over the outer edge of the can you are covering, holding the cover snugly on the end of the can and helping to seal the can tightly. They also have a small tab on the outer edge of the can cover that you can grip to remove the cover from the can it has been sealing closed so well. You are able to tell right away if these can covers will fit a can or not. If the can is just a bit too large, the lid won't go on -- no matter how hard you try to press or squeeze the cover onto the can. If the can is just a bit too small, the lid won't stay on the can, easily sliding or falling off. If you are cooking for one person and don't want to prepare or eat more than one person's serving portion of a canned food product, these ALAZCO BPA-Free Can Covers in a 12-piece set can help you fix only the portion you wish and keep the rest fresh and covered in its original labelled can in your refrigerator, still easy to identify by simply looking at the food in the can through the transparent cover if the label comes off the can, without having to worry about the inside of your refrigerator smelling like the city dump / landfill -- or worse -- if you put your "leftover" ingredients in containers with loosely fitting lids!

Fits 15oz bean/soup cans, and 5oz Bumble Bee Tuna. Does not fit Great Value Soups
I mainly bought these for cans of beans, clams, and a few other items that I don't consume in one meal. I measured my cans ahead of time, but this apparently served no purpose, because some of the cans I thought wouldn't fit, did, and vice versa. I'll just list some of the items I tried, since they are probably common for a lot of people reading: First the good news... Great Value Beans, 15oz (black, kidney, etc) - FIT, 3" lids. Margaret Holmes Blackeyed Peas, 15oz - FIT, 3" lids Bumble Bee Tuna, 5oz - FIT, even though I measured them to be 3.25". The 3.5" lids fit just fine. Hormel Chili, 15oz red cans - FIT, even though I measured them to be 2.875". The 3" lids actually fit just fine. Libby's Canned Vegatables, 15oz - FIT, 3" lids Great Value Canned Fruit, 15oz - FIT, WITH ONE EXCEPTION - for some reason, the Mandarin Oranges didn't fit the 3" lid (the can was just barely too small), but the rest fit fine. Great Value Canned Fruit, 20 oz - FIT, 3.5" lids Dole Sliced Pineapple, 20oz - FIT, 3.5" lids Great Value Punkpin, 15oz - FIT, 3" lids Great Value Canned White Chicken, 10oz - FIT, 4" lids And now the bad news... Great Value 10.5oz Condensed Soups - DID NOT FIT. 3" lids were too big. Campbells 10.5oz Condensed Soups - DID NOT FIT. 3" lids were too big. Great Value 18.8oz Soups - DID NOT FIT. 3" lids were agonizingly close, but just barely too small for the cans. Great Value Canned Vegetables, 8.5oz small cans - DID NOT FIT Bumble Bee Baby Clams, 10oz - DID NOT FIT. 3" lids were too big. Daufuski Oysters, 8oz red can - DID NOT FIT. 3" lids were too big. Great Value Mandarin Oranges, 15oz - DID NOT FIT, but they're gross anyway, so who cares haha. The other 15oz cans fit just fine, bizarrely. Only the Mandarin Orange cans were slightly too small. Go figure... Basically, if you want to save soup, buy 15oz cans, because the Great Value 10.5 and 18.8 oz cans don't fit! For my purposes, I only save beans, pumpkin, and clams/oysters, so I hit 2 out of three. I'll stick with Press n Seal for the ones that didn't fit, or maybe buy those stretchable silicone lids from Amazon at some point.

Versatile and a good value
Super happy with this purchase. I've been trying to find lid covers for a while that would work for all sorts of different can sizes. I've yet to find a can that one of these doesn't fit. Good value, nice to know they're made in the US, and so far working great!

They work great. Multiple sizes fit well.

The lids are to big for our smallest cans. But I found a few items that the lids will fit. The price is right.
