Far more sturdy than I was expecting it to be
I purchased this as a prop for a tabletop game taking place in the 20s. This fit the bill extremely well, and even with having large biceps, it was able to handle the size requirements without any issue. They did have a tendency to roll on smooth shirts however, which to their credit may be more of a fault of mine rather than any problem with the product. The problem is however that they explicitly call out its use as an Armband in addition to being a garter, so this use case is not unknown to them. Therefore recommendations on best practices would be helpful to the customer in the future.

Good for a Cheap Costume
Nice for a costume. Think costume for a party, and not costume for a tour-guide who plans on wearing them pretty frequently. These came in a very "party store" looking package, which foreshadowed their performance as the night wore on. I wear a 3XL top, and these were about as tight as I could handle over a three hour performance. They shed satin strings, but thankfully didn't dye my shirt or anything. Would not buy again.

Perfect for halloween.
Purchased for a halloween 1920s bartender costume for my fiance. Fits perfectly which was nice being that he works out so much, I was worried they wouldnt fit. The fabric could be a bit better if you are looking for many uses but they still look great.

Costume Finisher
The item was actually nicer than the pics suggested, the price was great, and it arrived quickly. They were the perfect finishing touch for the 1920s Gatsby Halloween costume.
