Comes in super large size to fit me but can be adjusted to smaller size. I love it
My back pain immediately stops when i use this. And it is very comfortable. But the biggest reason i needed it was my sacroileac gets out of alignment and when i use this belt, it stops the pain and helps recover the alignment without a chiropractor. I am grateful that this belt came in the larger size because other brands were all too small. Also, it is obviously high quality material.

Excellent support and almost immediate pain relief
After several rounds of physical therapy I was finally identified as having sacroiliac joint paint and not just lower back and hip pain or sciatica. My physical therapist used mild manual manipulation on my SI joint and promptly placed me in a SI belt for the duration of my PT session. The compression alleviated many of my symptoms, and I jumped on Amazon right away to order my personal SI belt. The Vriksasana Sacroiliac Hip Belt for Women and Men arrived within two days. It was packaged very well and was new. I immediately began wearing the belt for much of the day with only brief intervals without the belt. For the first few days I even slept in the belt very comfortably. With each passing day the pain gradually decreased, and before I knew it the lower back pain was replaced with minor tightness, which is very likely attributed to my poor posture. The radiating pain in my hip region also began to diminish and continues to improve after a little more than seven days of consistent use.The belt is very user friendly. It stretches nicely without losing compression and has 'grabbers' on the inside of the belt that prevent it from slipping or riding up. I've worn it with jeans, leggings, and shorts without any issues. It even stays in place while sleeping (I admittedly do not flail about while sleeping, but there is some movement throughout the night). The belt is fully adjustable when putting it on and you pull simultaneously on the compression straps to reach your individual level of comfort.I believe the Vriksasana Sacroiliac Hip Belt for Women and Men is more comfortable than the one I initially wore during my physical therapy session.I truly recommend the Vriksasana Sacroiliac Hip Belt for Women and Men.

Not a cure but a definite improvement
I have been using this belt for nearly 2 weeks all day and night and I feel the difference in the pain level. My PT explained why this works in stabilizing my back. All of my new exercises are geared to stabilization. This SI joint problem is very painful but at least I can walk now with controlled pain. I highly recommend this device. My only negative is the times I have to remove it to use the ladies room!!

Life-altering for si joint and related low back problems
My low back condition is due to my pelvis rotating out of alignment, apparently when I get inflammation in my si joint. This causes excruciating pain in my low back and left hip. For 4 weeks I've been having the worst case of this I've ever had. It has never lasted this long. I decided to try this belt hoping it would do even a little bit of good. Wow! This has been life-altering! I only take it off when I have to (using the restroom and bathing/changing cloths). Wearing the belt is supporting my pelvis and keeping it from rotating. I wanted to know if it was the belt or if my condition was improving on its own so I took it off while up moving around. It is definitely the belt! I feel so much safer and more comfortable with it on that I don't mind wearing it and don't want to take it off. I am able to navigate my work day, sit longer, stand longer, walk more. I sleep in it. I also got a memory foam support cushion made specifically for between my legs when I sleep. Also an Amazon purchase. The two combined have made it possible to sleep well again and to wake up without misalignment and pain. My chiropractor even has me wear it while he adjusts me. Adding 2 OTC ibuprofen every six hours has made it so that the inflammation is subsiding and this attack is finally starting to subside. My husband has a similar condition. He woke up yesterday in excruciating pain. I put the belt on him and took him to the chiropractor. He has kept the belt on since then. He slept in it last night and said it was life-altering. it kept his pelvis aligned while he slept. He doesn't want to take it off but knows I need it, too so he tried to give it back. I ordered a second one for me so he can keep wearing it. I was able to get same-day delivery so we could both manage our pain without waiting days.It is low profile- not sexy but if I wear black pants it isn't terribly noticeable. It's comfortable and, for the most part, stays in place. The Velcro is easy to manage so I don't snag my cloths whether I wear it inside my pants or outside. The elastic seems to be good quality -- it's stretchy but bounces back so it hasn’t gotten stretched out so far.We highly recommend this belt!

Belt is not for a fat person
I am 5'2 and 205 lbs. I carry a lot of that weight around my stomach. I have a 'mother's apron' as well. Both of these make wearing the belt uncomfortable. Once I figured out where it needs to sit, I cannot keep in that position. As soon as I sit down and my belly expands the belt shifts upward out of position. The bottom edge also rolls. If I tighten the belt to where it will stay in place it is extremely uncomfortable and I cannot draw a full breath. I do use the belt still but only for short periods of time. Once I lose weight, it will likely function better for me. (XL belt)ETA: Ok so I've had the belt a couple of weeks now. My SI joint pain is almost gone, though I have residual pain down my right leg. A little back story - I cook almost everything from scratch, and I LOVE to cook. But since last year when I first started having problems with the SI joint and deteriorating backbone - I have not been able to stand in the kitchen more than 3 or 4 minutes doing prep work without breaking down into tears as my back hurt me so much. Needless to say this put a stop to my cooking. Physical Therapy didn't help reduce this pain. Today, using this belt, I was able to fully prep and cook a chicken pot pie, corn bread, and some great northern beans. This never would have been possible before! I still have problems with the belt moving when I sit down - but if I can wear it while cooking and actually be able to feed us healthy food again, then it's worth it!

This is without question the best purchase I have ever made.
This is an update to a review I made in May 2022.I am 71 years of age, 5’8” tall and weigh 240 lbs, about 60 lbs more than my ideal weight, and, generally, am in good health. For 40 years I have had a problem with my left sacroiliac joint “popping out” (probably because of my weight and sedentary lifestyle) leading to disabling and continuous pain and discomfort and needing repeated and expensive chiropractic treatment which, although always successful, only lasted 36-48 hours.I used the belt as directed…all the time for the first 14 days, gradually reducing to the hours I felt I needed to use it.My problem is now ‘fixed’ in that my back is now ‘normal’ and I no longer have any pain or discomfort at all, although I still wear the belt if I am doing anything strenuous such as a long hike or gardening or washing my car, just to be sure and not stress my sacroiliac joint unnecessarily. The belt is very comfortable, light and easy to “put on and remove” and I completely forget I am wearing it; the fact that I am wearing is not apparent under my clothes.I find it’s use so very reassuring.I also use an obus-forme back rest in my car and at home, with small individual pads placed over the left sacroiliac joint to reduce the possibility of stress from being in a seated position for long times.I am not a chiropractor and have no specialist skills or knowledge however I think the use of the belt and the obus-forme back rest and small pads has allowed the sacroiliac joint protection from stress allowing it to heal itself.I can now walk long distances without any twinge of pain and the belt provides consistent and comfortable and continuing support and it has made walking a pleasure again. (I have even bought a second one in case it becomes ‘no longer available’).Despite its repeated use there has been no deterioration or change in the belt’s condition, that is it still looks and functions like it did when it came ‘out of the box’ the first time, with no change in the tension from the stretchable bands or the Velcro adhesion.I cannot overstate the quality of this belt or the benefits I have experienced from using it…it has really changed my life.I have used this belt for about 4 months. I have had a left-sacroiliac problem since the 1980’s and although the problem could be ‘fixed’ by the chiropractor, the fix was always temporary…usually lasting for 48 hours…and costly to repeat and so I have put-up with the pain for 40 years…and then I found this belt on Amazon.ca. It is easy to use and becomes unnoticeable in use and my sacroiliac problem is a thing of the past. I like to trail-walk and so before walking I don the belt and now can walk many kilometres without any problem at all whereas before I walked with increasing pain. My sacroiliac problem is greatly improved and I expect it will resolve completely. An incredible product and at an amazing price for the results. It is life-changing.
